After a lot of back and forth on VRBO I decided to give this listing a try. I am so glad that I did. Read the reviews, pictures can only give you a partial perspective. This house has been meticulously renovated. What an excellent restore. The house is super clean, the backyard was spacious with lots to do. The backyard was not buggy like you might assume. The Hosts were great, they went out of their way to decorate the house for Christmas which saved us a lot of work. The kids loved the house. They had lots of fun with the scavenger hunt. The location is on a quiet block in a relatively quiet neighborhood. I am no stranger to Jensen Beach and would recommend this location to anyone. It's in a very convenient area. Down the block you have the park to play tennis or beachball. Sewall's Point, Stuart, Downtown Jensen Beach all just a few minutes drive. I would definitely stay again. Thank You.

Barbara and Dennis have created such a wonderful experience at the Pennies from Heaven cottage. They are thoughtful and meticulous with our comfort and entertainment in mind. All daily supplies are fully stocked and they even welcome you with home-baked pastries (which are delicious)! For these reasons and many more, my family and I have booked this Vrbo for 3 years in a row to celebrate Thanksgiving. We hope for many more and we’ll be lucky if it’s available!

If I could rate it as 6 Stars, I would.
We had an event to attend near Jupiter over the Memorial Day weekend. This place seemed to check all the boxes, as far as location, number of rooms, etc. It looked cute in the photos and was reasonably priced.
When we arrived, we were floored. This home has a history and personality like none other. It charmed us from the first moment and only got better and better. The owners truly thought of everything!
The inside of the home is incredibly well decorated and laid out for maximum use of everything. The outside - well that was truly a gem. I don't want to give away all the charms of this magnificent - come see it for yourself.
You will not be disappointed - in fact, you'll be the family hero for finding such an amazing place!

I can't say enough positive things about this rental! EVERYTHING was perfect!! Communication with the owners was quick, fast and easy. As soon as we walked into the house it was amazing with so much character and it felt like home away from home. The notes they left for us along with the goodie basket in the fridge, made it very warm and welcoming!
I give this rental the highest recommendation possible! :)

Me and my wife returned for a second time to the Cottage. We had such a wonderful experience the first time we couldn't wait to get back. The amazing thing about the second time is it was just as good. The hosts really know how to make you feel at home and go the extra mile on everything. Highly recommended we will be back next year.

We loved this cottage! It’s not in the typical ‘tourist zone’. But is conveniently located for beaches, restaurants and lots of activities. It is well stocked with lovely back yard and full kitchen. The house is filled with unique features that you have to see appreciate. It was comfortable, a spacious layout- truly a hidden gem!

The cottage alone has weeks of exploration—with hidden treasures around every corner and thoughtful amenities. Cottage was spotless. Host was responsive to all questions and provided detailed guidance about the many opportunities for fun in and around Rio. Best VRBO experience I have had!

We were awed with the care for detail that went into this property from the moment we entered the front door. The hosts have thought of everything and made it personal with little notes to help us settle in. The property was clean and very well maintained. The outdoor space was extra great. We brought two young children with us and they played happily for hours on the pirate ship and sand pit. The house is small, but laid out in a way that provided plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the area. It is conveniently located and you can see the water at the end of the street!

Every detail has been anticipated for your stay. From the fridge and pantry to the stock of toiletries and helpful notes, every extra item I could hope for was found. Including a hair dryer for me and a Catboy car for my son! My 3 and 1 year old loved exploring the beautiful backyard with its multiple outdoor dining spaces and pirate ship play set. There were even toys for my kids to enjoy outdoors. The dining table was perfect for our family and easily accommodated some guests for a meal. Notes guided us through the things that required explanation and everything else was obvious or intuitive. This was truly the most comfortable and charming place we have discovered for rental vacation homes. It felt as though we had visited family members who anticipated our stay and set up their home with love and care so that we could enjoy the house while they went elsewhere. We were in awe of the place! The location was ideal for us. We were no more than 10 minutes from any place we wanted to go. We went to a rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, brunch, the children’s science center, a park, and an indoor flea market. I cannot recommend this rental more highly. If you are hoping to stay in Jensen Beach, look no further. You’ve found it!

What an amazing property! The owners generously provide everything you could possibly need for cooking, the beach, or just hanging at the house! There is so much to see and do…we can’t wait to come back! They even left us a nice treat basket with goodies to snack on! We will be returning to this property for sure!

Host provided books, movies, 6 beach towels, 6 beach chairs, 2 bicycles, ping pong, corn hole, board games, house scavenger hunts, etc. Communication with host is exceptional. Stuart beach and Jensen beach are around a 20min drive - nice clean public beaches with restrooms. Stuart beach has a cafe also. Neighborhood super quiet. Our family LOVED this home away from home.

Home sweet home
We had the most enjoyable stay at Pennies From Heaven. We stayed 7 nights. The house was so thoughtfully decorated and welcoming to anyone who walked through the front door. The spaces are graciously sized and comfortable and the bedroom arrangements were perfect for our family of 5. The backyard was exceptional with lots of shade and space and several areas to hangout and different games to play including horseshoes, corn hole and ping pong. And of course the pirate ship with slide. And they offer two cruiser bikes to use as well as beach chairs- so great! The ambiance inside with various warmly lit lamps made for cozy evenings that I looked forward to. Dennis was easy to reach and he himself also reached out for helpful hints and reminders like garbage day and times. The house was appointed with everything you would need which made this home so move in ready it was beyond wonderful. Thank you so much for creating and sharing this wonderful spot. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️

Family in town for Wedding
Our family and friends rented several houses in the area for people coming to town for our Sons wedding. Pennies from Heaven was our favorite gathering place and we hope to rent it again in the future. We didn't want to leave!

Spring Training Trip
This was our 4th trip to the Jensen Beach/ Stuart area to watch St Louis Cardinals Spring Training(that didn’t happen) however Pennies from Heaven was a perfect spot to stay and get out and explore Florida- this was the most well stocked and clean VRBO we have stayed in - the place is just as pics show and the cottage has a whimsical feel - the scavenger hunt kept us entertained- the food basket was such a nice touch - We highly recommend (kids would love the backyard- us adults sure did) and hopefully will be back next year ! Thanks

A memorable visit
Would recommend this place to anyone! The home was just perfect. Very interesting historical info on the home was provided. We were very comfortable inside and outside the home. Large outdoor area with multiple seating areas was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather we had. Home was larger than we thought with many details that you didn’t see from the online pictures. Hosts got back to me right away with any questions I had. Easy check in process. Home very clean and had everything you would need for your stay. I have stayed at many places in Florida over the years and this one is the most memorable one yet. Book this home for your vacation and you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing Cottage
We spent two weeks in this cottage and me and my wife were just amazed at the interior of this cottage.The pictures in the listing do not do justice .The work and craftmenship is right out of a magazine.The backyard also will not disappoint with its beauty and things to do.The hosts went the extra mile in supplying everything you need.Needless to say we hope to be back again.

All the comforts of home !
Pennies from heaven was perfect for our stay . Everything was there that we needed, including a scavenger hunt that entertained us all ! Location was close to the beach and town . Sidewalks to take our morning jog. Loved the coziness of the cottage the living room had plenty of books to choose from, along with blanket throws for all of us .
The beautiful outside oasis was perfect spot for our cousins reunion. We will definitely be returning on our next visit .

An absolute delight of a place for anyone who appreciates cottage character and charm! Wonderfully restored place with so many interesting details to explore and take in. It is comfortably and tastefully furnished, several different places to choose from for chili-out & conversation sessions, fully equipped kitchen (thank you for the welcome goodies, Dennis!), 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 2 pullout couches that allowed all us 8 adult-sized people to sleep comfortably, and a fantastic oasis of a back yard with so many hangout spaces, a pirate play structure (wish we came here when the kids were little), hammock, ping pong table, cornhole….. The pictures on vrbo don’t do this place justice! The only thing to be aware of is that there is only 1 full bathroom in this place - the second ‘bathroom’ is an outdoor shower cubicle (no toilet unit or sink). Location wise, it is not exactly a quick walk to anywhere but it doesn’t take long to drive to the beach or Stuart. Great find!
