This home was 10x more than expected! My sister’s wedding was near by so we were in and out of the home for the majority of the weekend for events. You can’t beat the morning sunrise over the pool (coming from a group of EST time zone folks) and sunset in the courtyard. The house was super spacious, very clean, and had every amenity you could think of. We loved the amount of natural light in every room. Beds were comfy and restrooms were tidy. Ubers and Lyfts were very easy to get from the location as an FYI. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house is amazing, with beautiful mountain and golf course views from the edgeless pool! Host was very responsive to questions. It would have been nice for the house to be cooled when we arrived, but once we located all the setting devices the house cooled very quickly. Lots of space and was perfect for our stay!

Overall the home and experience was great. The pool and it’s location are amazing. Their is plenty of space for everyone. We were in Poway for our son’s wedding and I rented this home for my parents and family to stay. My husband and I slept in one of the two bedrooms in the main home. While the downstairs air conditioning worked very well, the upstairs did not. At night it would get to be 88 degrees in those bedrooms. My brother and his wife were in the other bedroom. Their ceiling fan did not turn on, so no AC and no ceiling fan. It was extremely hot. Four nights of not sleeping and trying to get dressed for a wedding in the heat was very disappointing. The owner was very receptive and instantly wrote back, however, he said to turn the AC to cool. How silly, we are very techy and tried everything, including downloading the manual for the ac unit. For the price point on the rental, AC should work. I’m an insurance agent and details matter. There were exposed wires on some of the outside features, extension cords running where they shouldn’t. The rug in the kitchen did not have a pad for slipping, the stove dials kept turning. The two dishwashers we’re not functional, the ice machine did not dispense, the windows in the kitchen were so dirty, and the amount of light switches that were inoperable all led to our disappointment. The sheets on the bed were mediocre, pillows were subpar. Someone brought the garbage cans up to the house at 1:15am the first night. They made so much noise that it woke me up. Why would someone be there at 1:15am. We’re used to staying at 5 star luxury resorts. As long as you understand this is not the case and the ac doesn’t work properly upstairs, this is a great location and a decent home. They just need to update and repair some items then this would have the potential of being a luxury home. As for us, We will return to staying at a 5 star resort vs trying to navigate someone else’s version of luxury.

Quiet Oasis, overlooking the canyon and beautiful golf course. Home is exquisitely furnished and well designed with all the features like media room to watch movies, music, sauna after a swim in the beautiful infinity pool. It is pricy but one of the few properties I've stayed that the value outweighs the price.

We rented this house for out-of-town relatives who came to celebrate our mom's 90th birthday with us. (The parties to celebrate our mom's birthday were not held at the rental.) While the description of the rental is largely accurate, there are a couple of sentences that deserve clarification: 1. "Outdoor Video surveillance system helps to ensure guest safety." The reality is that the outdoor video surveillance system is [also] used by the property manager to actively monitor activities at the rental - what many of the guests felt was a bit creepy 2. "No loud music no parties (no parties or shindigs for fiestas. don't exceed max occupancy)." Unfortunately, when a total of 16 of us (avg age exceeding 55) gathered to have lunch and catch up with relatives we hadn't seen in 20+ years, we received a text and email to "stop the party". In speaking with the host, we learned that not exceeding max occupancy meant no more than 10 people - no visitors of any sort at any time, regardless of activity or noise level . We also learned that the host learned of the "party" not because of a noise complaint, but because the property manager was monitoring the house via the outdoor surveillance system. So, while the house lives up to its description (other than a few maintenance issues which were noted in other reviews and passed on to the host in a separate email) in terms of accommodations and setting, it may be helpful to consider these clarifications in deciding if this rental is suitable for you.

Gorgeous property and functional for all ages! We will be making another trip to Poway and will be staying at this property!!

I will start off by saying this home is lovely and we had a very nice weekend. However, the host failed to mention that there was a daily charge to heat the pool. Luckily, I asked the day before our arrival and agreed to pay the fee. However, when we arrived at the house the pool and spa were too cold to enjoy that day. This daily fee for the heater should have been disclosed upfront. Additionally, the owner’s daughter came to the property during our first night stay and left her car in the driveway for the remainder of the weekend. Lastly and most important, when we returned home we got hit with a $500.00 damages charge due to a couple of decorations left behind and a piece of tabletop decor which was shifted on the credenza in the dining room. My recommendation is the owner needs to remove his property from VRBO as it doesn’t seem like he is agreeable to having strangers stay in his home.

Beautiful place that has incredible views and a very relaxing setting. Top notch. A few items could use a bit of care but would definitely stay again. Great time had by all.

Loved this property! Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Only thing I suggest is adjusting the listing from 4 bedrooms to 2 bedrooms and a guesthouse w/a bedroom. Other than that, the owner sets up everything perfectly.

This property is amazing! The view is absolutely spectacular! We only spent the weekend there but it felt like a week: Everything from the pool to the hot tub, the outdoor TV space, the movie room, the kitchen and the gym were very well equipped and maintained. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our short vaction. Thank you Troy!

The home was beautiful and just exploring it was a treat. Tastefully decorated, prime location, spectacular views, and plenty of entertainment just within the home.

This house is beautiful, views are amazing! If you questioning no need this house is perfect for a getaway. The only down that I would have to mention is pictures on VRBO doesn’t do this house justice I would highly recommend this house I would definitely be back again
