We had a blast at Ocean Lakes! First time we have stayed here and overall the property was great. I would like to give a glowing review to the host though and express my deepest gratitude. We booked a place and a couple days before the AC Unit had to be replaced and not in time for our stay. He put us up in another place and was more than accommodating and went out of his way to make us happy. In a world with terrible customer service this man was a diamond in the rough. The place was very clean, had everything we needed and then some, check in with door codes/keys was super easy and we felt very safe here. Communication with our host was phenomenal. He was super quick to respond and helped us through everything we needed including suggestions about the property and other things going on around town. The one thing I should mention is that it is necessary to rent a golf cart. You cannot walk to the beach, VRBO has the pin dropped in the wrong place and it says 1 minute walk to the beach, it isn't. All the spots ocean front are for RVs and camping spots. The homes and cottages are back further on the property and you will need a golf cart to get around. You cannot park a car ocean front to go to the beach, the campground will not allow it and no parking in front of the amusement center. If you go to ocean lakes website, theres a map that will give you an idea of where stuff is. I will definitely rent from this host again the next time we go back. 5 stars.

Enjoyed our stay and the hosts we great.

The property was fine. Beds small. Came with a golf car, which was nice to have to get around. However when looking on Vrbo map, it appears to me on water, it is far from ocean. Neighborhood is on the ocean, however house is located in far front corner. When you call owner he’s very helpful, but make sure your dog is under 20lbs. The entire community of Oceans Lakes is great and a nice experience.
