We absolutely loved this property. We were in Carbondale with family celebrating a birthday, college graduation, and Christmas. This place was perfect for entertaining family and friends. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will definitely stay here again!

This property was beautiful. it was perfect for three generations of ladies. It was well appointed. Clean. Quality bedding and lots of towels. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. We had one small maintenance issue. That was taken care of quicker than I could have imagined if possible. The host was responsive and I would highly recommend this property. We will stay again if we are back in town. Thank you so much.

We took a girls trip for my 40th birthday. Excellent communication! Everyone was impressed with the house! 3 of the 4 bedrooms had en suite bathrooms and there was another full bathroom for the other bedroom. Beds were super comfortable! The decor was fancy and so was the coffee machine. Too fancy for a couple of girls, but they brought their Keurig. There is a gas stove, super nice, but only one of us knew how to use it so just fyi. We loved the dining room, sun room, and pool! Wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the rest of the property. It was a short drive from the wine trail which is why we stayed there. We loved the neighborhood coop grocery store nearby, like Whole Foods but smaller. Apple Maps could not find the house so be sure to use Waze. The only slight negative is the pretty decor was not always practical, mainly the lighting. Confusing to figure out the switches to all of them and the lamps in the bedrooms are high so you have to get out of bed to turn them on/off. Also, the master bedroom was not easy to cool. We didn’t see any actual vents in there, they were only in the attached sitting room. But anyway, none of that would keep us from staying again! In fact, we definitely plan to!

This house surprisingly accommodated three couples and a couple of teenagers very comfortably. We all took advantage of fishing, paddle boats, swimming, and tennis which are all just a short walk away through this private neighborhood. We enjoyed the bonus hot tub and grilling in a very quiet and private, wooded setting. We would definitely do it again!

Wonderful location to meet with friends for a three day weekend. The pool, lake and fireplace are were great. Definitely would Vrbo this location again.

This was part of a larger family weekend and this house was lovely. All systems are in place to make sure everything is set up, clean and beautiful before arrival; the system works very well. Kitchen top of the line, coffee amazing. Pine Manor itself has things family can do or just walk, beyond activities in Carbondale..

The house was well appointed, wonderfully located and a great place for friends to meet for the weekend. Betsy was accommodating and helpful when we asked to access the house an hour early. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a great stay at this lovely home. There was plenty of space to spread out to private areas while space to gather together. We took several walks in the gorgeous neighborhood.
The beds were too high for two of our group but the air mattress worked out.
We loved the availability of the double oven range but wish there were pans that fit both sides as well as a quick guide on how to use the range.
We would stay here again.

Beautiful property, inside and out, conveniently located halfway between Carbondale and Murphysboro.
Secluded for privacy, while giving easy access to both towns and all the beautiful area of Southern Illinois. Plenty more to explore, can't wait to return!

In all honesty, I wasn’t sure I wanted to pay for such a nice place for our family vacation. I’m so glad we chose this property though! Everything about it was first class. The home, location, and amenities were excellent. The kids mentioned how the beds were the most comfortable they had slept on. The tennis court availability and paddle boats allowed for some fun activities in addition to the relaxing options of the pool and hot tub. This was a great fit for our family to enjoy a little getaway!

Heaven in the Woods
This beautiful, well appointed house, on a large, beautifully landscaped acreage, is the best VRBO stay we’ve experienced. It is located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood convenient to Carbondale and Southern Illinois. I will visit here again.

Family vacation
Overall very good. Only disappointment was the pool area was a little rundown and internet was somewhat unstable but landlord sought to remedy and even offered another home as replacement.

Perfect location on the edge of town
This house was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. It was on the edge of town and very quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to town that everything you need is within a short drive.

Terrific house and neighborhood. Our stay was very pleasant and we would be willing to stay here again.
The house is very unique and well furnished. Many upsides that you do not find in other VRBO places. The "stocked" outside adventure cabinet was very nice that included beach towels tennis balls basketball and other items for the kids to use. The paddleboats on the lake were a hit and fit the theme well. The rafts and blow up floats at the pool were also nice to be able to use. Location of the house is perfect and very close to SIU and everything within Carbondale.
We had a great experience and recommend this house for others to enjoy.
