This home was perfect for a weekend getaway

We were visiting Laurel for one night and this unit was a great choice. Owners did a great job restoring this upstairs unit and it had everything we needed. Recommended!

The property was perfect for a quick overnight trip to Laurel. It was very clean, well furnished & perfect for us three ladies. There is a slender stairwell to access the upstairs unit and it was a little further than walking distance to the downtown area for us. The host was easy to contact & even agreed to allow us to check in early. I would definitely stay here again.

The home is a 1920s build, so it has the charm (love the remodel & decor) and challenges (drafty, electrical outlets in odd places) as such. The space is set up very comfortably to meet all our needs and well-stocked. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The location is in an old, established neighborhood where it looks like people are working hard to restore and keep their properties clean. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

We enjoyed our stay in the Cozy Collin’s Cottage and Laurel. It was a cool rainy day so did not walk but had no trouble parking in town

Updated 1920ish upper floor two bedroom. Updated mostly but the bathroom is not the most accommodating. No vanity countertop.

My daughter and I came for a short visit to Laurel MS. Everything was so nice, clean, and convenient.

Large bright 2nd floor space. Covered parking. Great stove and refrigerator but very few cooking utensils. Most restaurants in the area closed Sunday so we wanted to cook in. Abit noisey, hosts provides ear plugs and nice sound machine for sleep.

Beautiful Garden District home. We especially loved the front porch with its glass windows and painted floors. Everything was clean and thought through for guest.

Quiet and simple. Loved the sound of the wood floors creaking under my feet.
Playing checkers on the porch with my wife was peacefully intimate.
Would definitely stay again

This is a beautiful property and very clean. Looks just like pictures online. Check in was super easy. House is located near downtown. A bit surprised at the mix in condition of houses and change in neighborhood. Adjacent street was very depressed housing. But much of Laurel except the historic district seems to be this way.

Super place reminiscent of European apartment. Minimalist kitchen (stove, microwave, fridge) with no dishwasher, which was ok, and basics. Keurig with plenty supplies. Nice park within walking distance. Only 1 mile to downtown, and Garcia's Donuts! Definitely recommend this place.

We just stayed one night as we were traveling through, but it was perfect! I would definitely stay there again. Location is perfect-close to downtown and right in the neighborhood of the beautiful tree-lined streets. Beautiful upstairs house that had been updated.

We were in Laurel for two nights. On Sunday most stores and restaurants downtown are closed, which wasn’t the fault of the rental, but the kitchen was not well equipped to cook dinner. The rental was a few blocks away from some lovely walking streets, and a quick drive from the Lauren Rogers Museum and downtown Laurel. Both porches would be lovely if not during a major heatwave. Overall, a nice place for a short visit.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Quiet street. Plenty of space to enjoy time in your home away from home.
Only complaint was second bedroom's bed was very uncomfortable..it was lumpy. Needs a new mattress. Otherwise it was very enjoyable place to relax after a long day out visiting Laurel!

Beautiful B and B. Decorated country cottage. 2 separate bedrooms with 2 sun porches, large kitchen, nice living room. A wonderful place to stay.

My daughter and I loved our time in Laurel. This VRBO was the perfect little spot for us. It was spacious, especially the kitchen. The farmhouse feel was fantastic. It’s a little bit outside of downtown, but I went on a morning jog both mornings I was there and easily made it to downtown. If I had been with my husband instead of my daughter, I think we would have walked downtown every time we went, but my daughter preferred driving to downtown. I appreciated the restaurant recommendations that the VRBO owners put in their pamphlet. I also appreciated the snacks and coffee selection. I highly recommend going on the driving tour with the pink limousine. The owner of the VRBO had several recommendations for activities and this was one of them. I booked with confidence because of that and the tour was fantastic! Definitely eat breakfast at Grits and Some. Those were by far the best grits I ever had. But, back to this property, I highly recommend staying here. It is spacious, cute and clean!

This property looked exactly as pictured. Clean, bright, peaceful. Not far from downtown Laurel. We were only there one night, but enjoyed both porches for reading and coffee. Great to have a covered parking space. The only con for us in this lovely home was the narrow staircase to top floor, typical of the time period. Certainly not a deal breaker, just FYI for some that may have trouble with stairs😊
The host Katie was great to respond to questions and we found helpful info in the guest book. We hope to pass this way again for a longer stay.

It looks like they are still in renovation mode with the bathroom but everything else was very nice! Our favorite were the two balconies one of which allowed for a great sunset view! The spiraling staircase was rough to navigate even with small suitcases and the odor in the stairwell was strong and musty! A concern for people with respiratory issues! The apartment has no odors at all! There was also no functioning WiFi which was a problem for one of us traveling with a laptop. Loved the coffee maker and the great selections of coffees and snacks! That was nicely appreciated! One final issue is not enough electrical outlets, and limited furnishings such as a table or suitcase valet in the one bedroom! We would stay there again !

This property was clean, however the amenities were basic. The towels and sheets were poor quality. There were limited options for hanging wet towels or organizing your things. Bring an iron if you think you need one.

The town of Laurel was very fun. The house was the upper level. Decorated nicely. Neighborhood was on the verge of being a little sketchy. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The property was located well for us, adjacent to the beautiful neighborhoods for walking, close to downtown and close to the shopping strip with Kroger etc. The apartment had the essentials and was quite comfortably furnished. Beds, linens and towels were great. It is big enough to spread out and we loved the treehouse vibe from the second floor and the large windows. We only used one of the two bedrooms, but it would have worked fine with two more people.
