The house was great. Easy to find. Loved all of the options in the game room especially since the lake was still a little bit low. Enjoyed sitting on the doc and watching the sunrise. Hot tub was a added bonus. Would stay here again.

First time with VROB. The house looks nice and clean. The Overall stay is fine. There are few things I would like to provide some comments.
1. The hot water did not work. We had to shower with the cold water.
2. No lighter, We tried to lid the fire for the fire pit but can't find any lighter.
3. The light outside (patio) was flickering and kind of annoy.
4. The shed door can't be locked.

House was nice. The reason we booked the property was for the lake house and boat but we found out maybe 2 weeks before our trip that the boat was no longer being offered but an offsite rental was optional. After our stay we were asked about fishing poles that were supposed to be on property but when we arrived the only fishing poles that were there were the ones we brought with us in the back of our truck. Over all a pretty quiet neighborhood and a nice house. Neighbor is friendly also.

The Merrill is a very pretty, well-equipped home that is easy access to water and all the needs of town. I visited with 3 other moms and all of our kiddos for the holiday weekend. There was lots of laughing and giggles, 7 little ones do that. We loved hanging out in the hot tub, canal, and playing on the lily pad.
The only negative point was being barked at by the neighbors dog. Do not go behind the hot tub wall or near the fence, the dogs ran straight at the kids barking loudly. We all have dogs and were a little cautious of the fence line. Just something to keep in mind if your littles have a fear of dogs.
Other than that, we would stay again, it was more than enough room for multiple families, and most neighbors were very friendly. Plus the lake was not too busy to get on the water with some locally rented jet skis, even for a holiday weekend.

Everything was clean and almost as described. The check in code didn't work, the initial phone call was unanswered, but within an hour we were in the home. The listing says booth 3 and 4 bedrooms, there were only 3. This should be fixed as it confused us. Other than that things were great. Kayaks were awesome, the game room was fun, and the kitchen met all of our cooking needs!

Great house, true to pictures and well stocked. We enjoyed the boat on site and immediate communication when needed about a minor question. Highly recommend!

The house was clean and tidy. Furnishing were nice and clearly decorated by someone with good taste.
The kitchen and baths were adequately stocked, but not excessively so.
The yard, deck, and fire-pit areas are great. The hot tub was clean and easy to use.
The singular downside to the house is the drive to it. The neighborhood surrounding the house is not well kept and mostly consists of rundown trailers. That said, the area doesn't feel unsafe, just economically disadvantaged.

Property manager was amazing-Super responsive! Had a great time kayaking, fishing and taking out the paddle boat. Game room was fun for the kiddos. Beautiful interior. Well stocked. Recommend Rocky ridge safari in Eustace if you have kids..only 25 min away! Loved the s'mores welcome kit!

We enjoyed our overnight stay. Property manager was quick to solving problems and answering questions about our stay. We hope to be back when the weather is warmer.

We had a great time… the home was great… the yard was wonderful and we enjoyed basketball and darts in the game room. The house was really clean and comfortable.

Really enjoyed staying here. Pros: Plenty of activities for the entire family with the game room and kayaks. Even with the lake being low, we had a wonderful time. Could park 4-5 cars if needed. Backyard was great! Kitchen and Master bed/bath were great. Cons: if you like to fish (like me) water was very choppy in the mornings and since I couldn’t bring my boat, it was hard to fish. Little warmer upstairs than we preferred. Dining table only sat 4 so you either need to split your group at the counter bar or eat outside. Neighborhood felt a little “sketchy” driving in, but fine once we got there. Surrounding houses are well cared for.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. The home is stunning and gorgeous. Every detail is updated. The property manager is extremely responsive. We will definitely return and stay again!

Amazing location!
I can’t say enough about this property! First, communication with the host before, during and after the trip was quick and informative. The house itself was so clean and had so many amenities for us to use! They had towels set out for us, coffee ready to go, the grill ready to use, I could go on and on! The house is in a beautiful area on the lake. Even with the channel completely dry (lake levels every where on the lake are low!) it was still an absolutely beautiful property with huge windows to display the view. This is a property I would absolutely return to!

Nice big screen TV with lots of streaming app options in the living room. The detached garage doubles as a game room with foosball, ping pong and a couple of small basketball hoops on offer. Kids loved the space and spent a ton of time there away from us boring adults. The backyard is awesome with very nice lake views, a clean / functional gas grill and a super cool dock with an upper deck for hanging out. We would definitely stay here in the future. Hard to beat the location if you're coming from Dallas and want to hang out at a nearby lake for a bit.

Stayed here with family (mother in law, wife and 12 yr old twins) in March 2022. The home is very clean, user friendly and well laid out. Everything appliance wise is fairly new. Nice big screen TV with lots of streaming app options in the living room. The detached garage doubles as a game room with foosball, ping pong and a couple of small basketball hoops on offer. Kids loved the space and spent a ton of time there away from us boring adults. The backyard is awesome with very nice lake views, a clean / functional gas grill and a super cool dock with an upper deck for hanging out. We would definitely stay here in the future. Hard to beat the location if you're coming from Dallas and want to hang out at a nearby lake for a bit.
