The cottage was comfortable. Kitchen updated as was the bathroom. Front porch allowed us to enjoy the water activies and sunsets. Great breezes from the lake. Nice and quiet way to enjoy summer.

The lake and location were perfect! Loved the back porch overlooking the lake. Took my raft and floated on the lake. I would recommend this place.

Very clean little cottage right on the lake. Quiet with very little water or road traffic. Close to Mackinaw city. Sandy beach and warm Water. Use of kayak and canoe a bonus!

Staying here for a week with our two kids (2.5 yr & 4.5 yr) was perfect! The house was clean, well stocked, and although small, a perfect fit our family! The water is warm and shallow so it was great for our young children. The host was super helpful and quick to respond to any of my questions before and during our stay. We took a few day trips to Mackinac Island, the UP, and Ocqueoc Falls. The rest of the time was happily spent at the cabin swimming and making s’mores! Thank you for sharing such a great place for us to make family memories!

This was a great place to celebrate my mom’s heaven anniversary and to be able to kayak to my hearts desire. It was peaceful. It was clean. I loved the big windows, it gave a great view of the lake. I enjoyed reading my book and watching the sunsets from the porch. The lake didn’t have a lot of boat traffic on it so I didn’t have to listen to boats all day or dodge boats while kayaking. While on the water, I saw eagles, deer, ducks, and a raccoon. I didn’t want to say goodbye.

Great location for sunsets on Paradise Lake with access to the northern lower and upper peninsulas Really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful view of the lake and easily accessible to nearby attractions. Maggie was very responsive to my concerns. It was a lovely vacation to see Mackinaw.

My wife and I stayed for 6 days to get away from the hustle and bustle of work and everyday life. It was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in some time! We trailered our Harley up with us…the cottage location is great…20 minutes North to the Mackinaw bridge and UP or West to Legs Inn and scenic M-119 Tunnel of the Trees for a motorcycle ride! The lake was so quite and relaxing every day and night! While we were kayaking the shoreline we got some great pictures and video of a Bald Eagle perched in a tree and taking flight…it was awesome! The weather was perfect during our stay…swimming was great and the sunsets from the cottage’s sandy beach or screened porch were so beautiful! The owners responded quickly to a question I had and were very helpful! We will stay here again!

Perfect location for day tripping around the area. The lake is great and the kids were in it as much as possible. The cabin is nice and clean, well kept. It was about right for the 4 of us. The boys took the bunks and seemed like they had enough room. Overall a very relaxing week watching sunsets on the beach.

This is the perfect old school cabin but without the old time hang ups. The owners are lifelong members of the lake community, so they are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They have struck the perfect balance between classic and modern, quaint and convenient. The place has all the charm of an early/mid-century cottage, but with subtle updates and conveniences like WiFi, and good water pressure. The view is outstanding, especially at sunset. There’s a beach with a fire pit, and the water is quite shallow for several yards out, so nobody buzzes the shore on jet skis. It’s close to restaurants and attractions, but still feels off the beaten path. As city people, we found it to be a perfect, private getaway from the noise and bustle.

We really enjoyed this cottage which is right on the peaceful lake Paradise. Just what we needed getting away from the day trips to mackinaw city and the island.. totally relaxing and fun! Perfect location…

The owners surprised us with extras including lake toys & a kayak, canoe and rowboat to make our stay even more special. We were welcomed with a bottle of Red wine and even a variety of beverage options in the fridge as well! Overall, we loved the location, the safe quiet neighborhood, and the short drive to the Ciry and the ferry..
