Unfortunately, we had no heat or hot water, and the owner was not very responsive.
I had to contact VRBO to get a phone number as there was no response from him through the app. Once he finally responded, he suggested a few things that WE could do to fix the issue that unfortunately did not work. His last response was he was away in Boston and couldn’t help us. We had a wedding and several events with no hot water for showers or heat for a chilly weekend. I asked for a refund and VRBO said the owner needs to take responsibility for that and once again there was no communication or response from him.
My suggestion is to make sure you have a backup plan just in case the owner is unresponsive, and he should think about hiring a management company to handle responding to guest and property issues.

This cottage is perfectly equipped for a family or friends getaway and is just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. The unit is in the middle of 3 condos in a quiet, shady corner of Maushop. Everything in it is new and sparkling clean. The queen bed upstairs was extremely comfy; we slept well there and hated to leave!

The villa is perfect for a small group. The furniture and beds were comfy, kitchen well appointed, tons of towels and closet space. Quiet, cozy, beautiful little village with so many beautiful flowers. Easy walk to the beach with a path or stairs to the water and a walking panther to the Marketplace. Would stay an again and will recommend to others.

It was near the beach, I could smell the ocean, I could walk to the beach and swim, back to salt water, I rejoice.
The downstair beds were monstrously high, Mom at 102 yo was challenged. We flipped the box spring off to lower the mattress and Mom slept well all vacation long and didn't fall once. Put it all back the way it was when done. All good.
A peaceful place, a peaceful vacation, a good time was had by all.

My husband, son and I stayed at this property for Labor Day weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The house was clean, comfortable and perfect location to walk to the beach and the marketplace. It was so nice to not have to load the baby in and out of the car every time we wanted to go somewhere. Maushop is the perfect location for a getaway!

We loved this place! The space was very comfortable and quiet, and only a minute or 2 walk to the beach. Having New Seabury within a short walk was so convenient too! We walked to get coffee there in the morning and dinner at night. Everything about this property was easy, comfortable and enjoyable.

We had an wonderful time! Great location and adorable cottage setup! Short walk to the beach and marketplace. Everything was clean and well laid out. Grateful for the towels and linens being provided. Would definitely stay here again!! Thank you to the host for the comfortable accommodations for our family!

We enjoyed our stay. It was just the right size for two teenagers and two adults. The home is very clean. The beach and other attractions (raw bar etc.) are very walkable.
The kitchen has everything you need to make meals. The home also has beach towels and sand chairs.
My only suggestion would be to put a king bed in the upstairs bedroom. There is enough room and it would be more comfortable for (spoiled) adults. :) We would stay here again. Great neighborhood!

First time staying in this area of the Cape and we loved it. This resort community is very quiet. The condo was very clean. The kitchen had a lot of amenities. The only issue was parking for this particular unit. It has very limited parking. I have a Dodge Ram pickup and it hardly fit in the parking space. If you have a 2nd vehicle, you must park it in another area in the resort. All in all we are very pleased and will be back in the near future.

A lovely updated cottage that had everything we needed for a weekend get away at the Cape. It was just a short walk to the beach or a few restaurants.
Will definitely book here again if our travels bring us back to this area.

We loved our stay at this condo on our East Coast stay. The host was helpful in answering questions before I ever booked. It was a while k walk to the beach and the surrounding grounds were just beautiful. We were there during the Hurricane so didn’t get to enjoy the beach as much as I would have like too, but weather is hard to predict. I would love to come back during the summer sometime and stay at one of his properties for sure.

My husband and I wanted to take our son and two of our grandchildren to Cape Cod. We thought instead of renting a hotel this would be more fun. The condo was even better than the pictures and the owner was so easy to work with. The location was perfect...a short ride to Mashpee Commons, which has shopping, dining and pretty much anything you could or would need. We had a wonderful time and the short walk to the beach was amazing! We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Cape Cod!!

Maushop is great in September! Quieter and still a great time for a sit on the beach and a dip in the ocean. This is a great cottage with 2 full baths. Kitchen has what you need - but don’t forget to bring some k cups if you want a morning coffee as there isn’t a supply for even your first morning.

Beautiful community. For a two bedroom condo, it had lots of room, lots of dishes, kitchen appliances, towels, etc. We loved the area and would definitely return.
The beach is a short (3 minute) walk from the condo.

This unit was in a nice location and we really liked that it was shaded by mature trees, which made it comfortable to sit out on the patio. It was only a short walk to the beach, the restaurants and shops. We found it well stocked with everything you’d want for the beach (umbrellas, beach chairs, beach towels) and the back porch had a hose for washing the sand off. Everything was clean and comfortable and we really appreciated the updated AC units. The owner was helpful and responsive when we had questions and we look forward to future visits.

This property is outstanding! Has all the comforts of home. It was clean and inviting. The listing is accurate and truly has everything you need and then some. The beach and market place were daily destinations - minutes walk. We loved staying at this property and cannot wait to be back!

Maushop Village
Perfect location to the beach and to the village marketplace. Beautiful shaded patio and garden it was nice to eat breakfast there every morning. Beautiful updated home and furnishings. Attention to detail is impeccable. Clean cozy well stocked amenities. Definitely the place to stay.

Wonderful little townhouse right on the beach. Scott was a great host. The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything you would need. My family had a wonderful time staying and will definitely be back.

Perfect cottage!
We booked this cottage last minute, feeling a need to get away. From the minute we walked in the door, we knew we made the right decision. Nicely decorated, clean, spacious, and a short stroll to the beach! Scott was super responsive to all our needs, including dropping off a brand new grill within minutes. As an owner, he knows just the right things to do to make your stay special, even a bottle of wine to welcome! Scott has numerous properties in Maushop, and based on our experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in any of them! We will be back!

Just like home
This is a nicely decorated, comfortable home with a well-stocked kitchen. It was wonderful to prepare meals as a group and then eat on the large outdoor table (there's a nice one in the dining room too but we had great weather!).

Nice, quiet place
We spent the weekend here to explore Cape Cod. Nice property & Scott was helpful when we had questions. April is obviously not prime season, so we enjoyed the quiet. Close to beach & other amenities.
