We enjoyed our stay at Bienvenue and found the property clean and well-maintained. The living room has a fantastic view of Apalachicola Bay and from the deck there is a wonderful view of the sunset. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, beds were comfortable and the furniture in good repair and relaxing-ready. Very minor complaints were that all dishes/utensils are to be clean upon departure ( no problem) but while there was a sponge and dish towel provided along with only two tablets for dishwasher there was no dish soap and also no coffee filters for the coffee maker so we had to dash to the store before it closed for the holiday. Hard to understand why those low-cost items were not available. All-in-all we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

If you are looking for a place to fish, go to the beach, ride bikes and just have peace and quiet this is the the place to stay! This place was just what my family needed! We hope to go back to visit the little bit of heaven cottage on the bay soon!

I was disappointed when I walked in, took off my shoes, and the bottom of my feet were black within 5 min. There were bulbs out in lamps in both bedroom with no spares available. We had to move them around to have bulbs in both lamps in the room we were staying in. The light was out in the closet in one room. We called to have a broken shade pull repaired and no one came so I fixed it myself so I could see out the front window. The selection of pots is abysmal. Both of the only 2 large pots have the teflon scraped out of the bottom. There was no colander Virtually every draw and cabinet were stripped clean with very few utensils. The owners should be ashamed to leave an unusable patio table on the desk. It was so rusty and peeling it was disgusting. They could at least put a slab of something over the top of it. It has enough positive features that we'll return. But owners are probably some of the worst examples I've seen in all the years we've been staying on St. George. Next year, I'll bring my own pots.

Since our main reason for coming is fishing, we wouldn't have spent many extra hours preparing fishing gear and then packing all of it. The WiFi nor the TV worked. We notified Suncoast office a total of four times concerning these issues. Our name was supposedly called into the media company. We never got a call. As a result we packed up and left a day early. The kitchen was well stocked; however, we will not return.

It is right on the water with a great ,furnished deck and dock. The pelicans fished right off the deck the whole time we were there. We saw some dolphins but they didn't come near. It is secluded, in the woods and neither of neighbor's houses. The downside are there is not a very good selection of pots and pans. Otherwise there is plenty of dinnerware, glasses, silver wear and cultlery. And yes, there is a wine opener. Also, the washer and dryer in a closet in a downstairs carport. the cable box in the living room was broken and some of the recesses lighting was out.It's perfect for a small family. It was was just my husband and me and it was so perfect for us we've already booked it for next year.Highly redcodmmened.

This was a nice place to stay inside for a few days and we always felt safe. There are a few things about the property that keep me from calling it great--terrible mattresses, skimpy supply of dishes, no coffee filters (really, you could do better), and bad cable. The cable would not have mattered so much if we hadn't been inside so much. On the other hand, the Wi-fi was great and the view of the bay was stunning. On balance I say its a good place and with a little effort would be great, but please do something about the mattresses.

The location was convenient to local restaurants - but watch for the bumpy roads. This was our first visit to SGI and we'll be back. The kitchen is minimally stocked, but was fine for us. The mattresses are in need of replacement, and additional blankets would be great. The TV in the bedroom does not work, we read that in previous reviews and expected it to have been fixed.

The house was very clean, but a bit lacking in basic supplies - no extra garbage bags, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. The dock felt a little unsafe with missing boards. There were a couple abandoned bikes that I called the bike rental company to pick up. But the management company was easy to contact. Maybe these other things are normal for rentals in this area, hard to tell. And it was nice to be able to bring our dogs.

It was clean, very homey, well maintained and you feel somewhat secluded even though there are houses on either side. The Bienvenue has a great view of the bay and you can watch the sunsets form the dock, porch, or the living room! I highly recommend this house and will be renting it again in the future.. 😊
