If you don't like sitting a dock above the water in a hot tub while boats pass in the lake below, then this place is not for you. If you do then you can't go wrong. It's perfect for a couple needing some time alone

This place is beautiful and oh so peaceful. It is everything listed and more. My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Romantic, serene, private getaway steps from the lake. The hot tub and fire pit were added bonuses!

This property is a little piece of heaven! As fantastic as the pics are, it’s even better in person! We spent our days on the deck lounging by the lake, swimming and hot tubbing. The BBQ grill was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Wayne was so kind and helpful!

This is an amazing property, relaxing and views from every angle. we will be back. There are stairs so don’t bring so much stuff. 😂😂. Really a place to stay when you don’t have to leave much, next time, nothing on our agenda.

We loved the still waters, ducks quacking, and much more at this cabin on the lake. The view across the water is so peaceful and pretty. We would have loved to have had more time to soak it up.

Wayne & Nanette were awesome hosts! Wonderful little home with beautiful views right on Lake Goodwin. Endless ducks swimming about, and we even saw a bald eagle. Perfect for just the two of us, to get away for a coupe days. The location was great! Close enough to shop at the nearby outlet stores, with endless restaurants to choose from. The home was clean and stocked. The espresso machine was a nice bonus, as was the surround sound system. I did have to work for a little bit - WiFi was fast and reliable. The lake view hot tub on the back deck was inviting, but the weather did not cooperate for us to use it. :-( It was February, so we were not expecting great weather. We managed to pick a weekend that had a pretty decent sized wind storm that lasted our entire final night. We actually found the sounds of the sloshing water to be quite relaxing! :-) However, the only available (mandatory) place to park is under some trees. Consequently, our brand new car did suffer from a dent from a fallen branch, due to the wind storm. :'-( Collateral damage due to some bad luck, I guess. As nice as it was during a grey Feb winter, I can imagine how beautiful it would be to visit in the Spring/Summer. We highly recommend you book your stay here, should you find yourself in the Stanwood/Marysville area. You won't be disappointed!

If you see this listing and review, do not scroll to other properties and book this one! Our stay was amazing and relaxing. Even though we booked on a rainy winter week it was ok because we just sat near the fireplace and enjoyed the perfect view. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and had great internet and tv/movie options. My son really enjoyed the hot tub. The hosts are very friendly and Hank the ambassador dog was just icing on the cake. We even had fresh milk for hot cocoa waiting on us. We will definitely be back here again!!!

We came here for my 50th Birthday weekend. Wayne & Nanette made it extra special with a Birthday greeting and treat for me in the fridge. It’s not far from Tulalip Casino. At the lake cabin we enjoyed the very large tv and great sound system for music inside, the fire pit, hot tub and views. The place is cozy, clean, modern, with higher quality items for use. We loved our stay at the cabin! We booked this stay as a end cap to a 10 day driving vacation and knew we’d want a few days to vacation from our vacation before heading back home. It was clean, comfortable, cute…everything we could have asked for. We knew we were in the right place when we arrived and “Hank” gave us a warm welcome and showed us the way to the cabin! The quiet of the lake was so relaxing. Close enough to towns to go sight seeing and/or shopping. Hot tub was excellent in the evenings for star gazing. We would love to come back when warmer weather and partake in lake activities!!

Can’t say enough great things about our stay on lake Goodwin and how easy they made it, from the code of the door to the easy to us instructions. We would stay there again In An instant.

The property is just as it appears in the listing. The lake is crystal clear. There are kayaks and paddleboards for your enjoyment. The sunsets are breathtaking. Wayne and Nanette are very responsive and have the place set up nicely for a relaxing stay. Sitting in the hot tub on the deck watching the sun set and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere was just what the doctor ordered. We look forward to or next stay!

This was such a great spot! The lake is super clean…great for paddle boarding and kayaking. We caught fish right of the dock. The sunsets were spectacular! The host was very kind and welcoming! Great spot…we hope to go back in the future.

The cabin was very cute, comfortable and every available space was cleverly used. The outdoor space was amazing and we lived outdoors as much as possible. I grew up camping in the nearby County park and it was fun to come back & experience the lake as an adult. Thank you Wayne & Nanette, we enjoyed our stay:)!

Picturesque views from every window, however there’s no way you will want to sit inside! The well manicured landscaping was like a fairytale walking from the car down to the lake house. The shooting stars,sitting around the fire pit at night was an extra bonus! The welcome snacks and wine was thoughtful. Hank the ambassador (dog) was an even extra special bonus. All the attention to detail… most comfy sheets I’ve ever slept on!

Sleeping was a dream on the comfortable bed. You can hear the soothing water lapping as you rest. I felt so relaxed, secure, and at peace. The hot tub is superb. I watched the sunrise from it. Nanette and Wayne were the perfect host and hostess. They respected my privacy and were there for me when I had questions. It was a delight staying here. Betina

My wife and I stayed here while visiting the area, and we absolutely loved starting at this lakeside property. The house is clean, well equipped, and even includes some bonus extras like kayaks and SUP boards. We didn't want to leave, and we would have no hesitation to rent this house next time we're in the area!

H having a place to return to after a hard day of disc golfing was just awesome. There's a diving board in the lake and there's a hot tub that awaits us. It was just lovely. The Wi-Fi works. The TVs work, electricity works and Hank the cow dog came to visit so all together it was a fine place to stay. I'm doing it again

Myself and two friends stayed here for about four days. The property was beautiful and was very well kept. We really loved having access to the hot tub, kayaks and paddle boards. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and QUIET, this is your go to.

My wife and I were seeking some peaceful R&R away from the kiddos and found this absolute gem! The weather was amazing for us, and we had plenty of privacy, quiet, and beautiful lake views all day! A little in the country and off the beaten path was exactly what we needed, with great food and shopping not too far away. We plan to come back again!!
