This was our family’s second time staying on AMI. The first time was at a comparable house on the north end of the island. That stay was 5 stars. Anna Maria is a great place to stay but would caution other vacationers to be aware of some issues with this property before making their decision. I’ll focus on the cons because that’s what other potential renters should be aware of. Cons: Heated pool was not heated for over half of our stay. It was a Saturday and we weren’t able to get the pool company out to fix it until the Monday, and it required two visits to get it up and running. The pool wasn’t warmed up until the last 2 full days of our stay (Thursday and Friday) which was very disappointing for the 4 kids there. The rental company responded after 2 weeks after our complaint and offered us 2.5% of our rental fee towards a future stay. They blamed bad weather, but improper maintenance was also a factor (a valve was incorrect and fixed on the second visit from the pool company). We will be avoiding this Beach House AMI company when we visit AMI again. There were numerous broken items when we arrived. Toilets, dining room chairs, dishwasher not installed properly. It wasn't in great shape When we arrived, we were not given the code to open the garage and rental company didn't respond with this info. It was alarming easy to guess. The washing machine has mold or mildew on the gasket One o the showers was LOUD and sounded like intense pipe rattling was happening

Our family of 11 stayed here for a week. Ages ranged from 4-70 and everyone had a great time. The house had plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with a Keurig and two coffee pots, plenty of dishes and cookware, utensils etc. The starter supply of necessities - TP, paper towels, soaps got us a good start. We did bring our own food supplies because we knew nothing was provided so we were prepared. Not even salt and pepper. The grocery store is a block away and you can get your order delivered which is what we did for our first big shop. Plenty of beach towels were provided. There are beach chairs and toys there, also one working wagon. These seem to be things left behind by previous renters. These things aren’t maintained so all of them aren’t in the best of shape. We brought our own wagon and chairs, umbrella and beach toys and we’re glad we did. The house is right across from the beach, a short few min walk. The house is also right on the trolley route and we used that to get around the island. The pool and hot tub got used by us morning/noon/night it was warm and was a nice place for us to all hang out together. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Anna Maria Island.

Keurig on counter but not working - so shouldn't even be there. Refrigerator water dispenser not working I am not the fussiest of people but it could have been cleaner - especially dusting There were 2 unusable dining room chairs (looked like just missing some bolts) Overall, it was a great experience. Loved the backyard and pool The family had a wonderful time!!!!!!! 2nd time renting VRBO with no hitches - major plus

Great home with an ensuite in every bedroom. The pool was great for those that don't like the beach (we enjoyed both). The ping pong table came in handy as well as the walkability to Publix. Highly recommend this rental for a large family gathering!

place was nice, but the kitchen sink faucet was not attached, propane tank for the grill was empty. but, overall a beautiful house

The entire family loved the house.

Ample space for all. Appreciate the 2 wagons and beach items. Cooking equipment in good order. Keurig and regular coffee maker useful. Although the starter supplies made the close by Publix essential for tp napkins salt pepper oil coffee filters etc. The garage fridge and pool were great. Any issues were fixed promptly. Proximity to beach and beach cafe/ice cream/beach store was excellent.

This house was the perfect fit for what we needed. Plenty of room and lots to do. Just a hop skip to the beach!
