Inn at Elijah McLean's

The property was beautiful. The room was basically clean, but the vanity lights were covered with dust and a bolt was missing off the toilet seat. I am not sure of the purpose of the foil on the window over the door. The door code to to “limited club” does not work, but found you can get there by going through the front door. The employees are exceptional. Very engaging and helpful. The bike trail across from the property cannot be reached easily from the property without traveling on the road. It is worth the trouble. It was an amazing experience.

The pillows in the room are sub par.

This met my expectations for a nice hotel. The room was quiet, the sheets were crisp, and everything worked. What I found exceptional about the property though, was sitting in the yard in the late afternoon in the shade. It was incredibly pleasant. A beautiful garden with trees all around and the river seen through the trees. Too bad the restaurant was closed because it was Tuesday, because I really wanted to just sit there and enjoy the best of Missouri.

The wifi was kind of sketchy. Also I had to black out the windows because of the bright outside lights. I would rather have left the drapes open so the sun could wake me up.

Convenient check-in /check out and nice room accommodations

Wifi and TV selection was disappointing

Cleansiness

Value for the cost, barebones, noisy due to hearing footsteps from above, glass allows light in room, cheap furniture
