What a wonderful place. The Villa Etna Mare was everything we hoped for and more. The views are unbeatable and we'll never forget sitting on the terrace with a drink whilst watching Etna erupting before our eyes. What a spectacle!
Well equipped, from washing machine to panini maker. The villa has everything. The pool was a real bonus in the Sicilian heat and the children loved the pool toys.
We made our own pizzas in the pizza.oven, picked grapes from the vines and figs from the tree.
Yes, the road up to the villa is uneven, steep and twisty but once you've driven it a couple of times, it's not a problem. Just take your time and enjoy the views on the way up.
We didn't want to leave!

Michael is an incredible host and the villas is just stunning. Even better in real life.
The house is very cosy, fits the Italian style, has lots of space. The communication with Michael was always quick and easy.
Just one tip, the roads there are quite steep, so better to get a bigger car and a confident driver :)

We loved the privacy and peacefulness of the villa. The pool was perfect and received sunshine until late in the day. The bedrooms all have air conditioning and the beds were very comfortable. The villa owners were always just a message away and were so helpful in the build up to the holiday and during our trip.
We had a few troubles with mosquitos in the hot weather. It would’ve been nice to have some mosquito nets on the ground floor to let some air into the villa to keep it cooler.
