Very disappointed - Should have read the reviews better before booking

Great central location

After a 2 1/2 hour drive we arrived to find no basic provisions that we would have expected, I was especially disappointed by the lack of ANY toilet paper, sugar and coffee. The slats on the main bed fell out on the first night and I have to repair it myself. There is no lock on the bathroom door, plus it was very difficult to close. One of the supplied towels had a large stain on it. We had to clean some of the glasses before we could use them as they were dirty. The ironing board had no cover on it. A sign on the entry gate saying Ladybird Cottage would be useful.

Excellent quirky cottage

The layout, the closeness to all amenities. The decor.

Unfortunatley plates were dirty and dishwasher hadnt been cleaned, but everywhere else was lovely

Comfy beds and lovely welcome basket perfect touch!

Was nice and easy to find and has all amenities there for us to use when arrived and the welcome basket upon arrival was just the perfect touch! The beds were so comfy too!

Let down in general, a bit of effort would go a long way.

Location.

One of the carpet bars is missing and needs urgent attention as the carpet moves out if you tread near the edge also, the stair carpet is sticking out on the top step, more worrying this was reported in an earlier review. One of the door sidelight glass to the double bed bedroom is shattered, it has some kind of film holding it together. The bathroom door is hard to close as it rubs on the floor also the handle on the inside has a bolt missing making it difficult to close. The pull switch in the same bathroom is intermittent sometimes. Cobwebs in the corner of most walls.
