Beautiful, well laid out. Friendly staff who were happy to help whenever they could..

We loved how close it was to all amenities and the staff and food was exceptional.

The only down side was the current construction work going on but we didn’t let it affect our stay.

A beautifully appointed hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted by professional and friendly staff, with a special mention to Szlivia, who was particularly attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. We loved the spacious room, retro-inspired décor, large bathroom, and thoughtful amenities. Ginger Moon was another highlight, with a great atmosphere and a lovely adults-only poolside area. The food was excellent, with the tuna nachos being my personal favourite. Overall, a stylish and enjoyable stay, and somewhere I would happily return to.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue during our stay was the significant noise from construction next door, which continued throughout the night and made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep (ie any sleep). This had a major impact on our overall experience and is something guests should be made aware of when booking. There were also a few room-related issues. The blackout curtains were not properly fixed, so they did not provide the expected level of darkness, and the bathroom door was particularly heavy and noisy when opening and closing. This was especially disruptive during the night. While the hotel itself is beautifully appointed and the staff were lovely, addressing these issues would make a significant difference to the guest experience.

The W Dubai - Mina Seyahi is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and lovely rooms. Unfortunately, our check-in experience was incredibly frustrating and put a dampener on what was meant to be a special birthday trip. We paid extra for a Premier Deluxe King Room with Sea View - High Floor specifically because we wanted an unobstructed sea view and hoped to avoid overlooking the ongoing construction work nearby. However, upon arrival, we were given a room on the Marina side where the "sea view" was effectively blocked by surrounding buildings and construction. We had researched the area before travelling and were aware of the ongoing construction nearby, which is precisely why we paid extra for a sea-view high-floor room rather than a Marina-facing room. When we raised the issue, the front desk advised that a "Sea View High Floor" booking only guarantees a room on the 20th floor or above and does not guarantee an unobstructed sea view. If that is the hotel's interpretation of this room category, I believe it should be made much clearer during the booking process. Guests paying a premium for a sea-view room would reasonably expect to have a meaningful view of the sea. The situation became quite stressful and unnecessarily confrontational at reception, which was the last thing I wanted to deal with on my birthday. We were initially offered a room in the neighbouring sister hotel, which we were taken to view but did not feel was suitable. Only after we continued to explain our concerns did the hotel upgrade us to a Premier Deluxe Corner King Room with Sea View, which provided the unobstructed sea view we had expected from the start. Once the room issue was resolved, the remainder of our stay was excellent, and the hotel itself is stunning.
