very friendly and helpful host

Tasha was there to greet us, the key was in the keylock just by the front door of the annex. Parking was easy and really convenient, hosts have a beautiful and well maintained front garden/lawn, the annex also has a back garden. Very cosy and convenient. The property was pristine, and had everything we could have possibly asked for, sky TV, comfy beds, soft towels, the view for sunrise and sunset were pretty amazing. Tasha and her lovely family were so very welcoming and accommodating, we always had a lovely conversation when we saw them by the door. It felt like a home away from home. It was very quiet and safe and night, we all slept solidly. Tasha and family were always happy to give recommendations of nearby locations and things to do. We absolute had a memorable time and will return soon.

A bit of an odd layout (the shower for example), but felt homely and it was perfect for a couple. The outdoor space is small but overlooks a nice garden. Parking space outside. 7 mins walk to the town centre. Very quiet area. The hosts are really nice and helpful.

The bedrooms are on the small size and some of the furniture should be elsewhere: for example the main bedroom has a chest that is not accessible; if it's for housekeeping, perhaps this could be moved behind the door? as it is, it's just taking up a lot of space. Water pressure was very low (we couldn't use the shower hose in the bathtub) and just lukewarm water (but the weather was hot so it didn't matter much). The cooking set needs replacing (stainless steel would be better); no teaspoons (??). The whole flat looked very clean, but move something and you'll find crumbs from previous guests: the oven had not been cleaned from a previous visit (I left it as I found it). There was dust and hair in the cutlery drawers. A bit more attention to cleaning would be good.

Nice welcome folder, lots of options for things to do, helpful links and numbers. Very large annexe. Private off road parking. Helpful and approachable owners.

Hot water pressure was rubbish. The "shower" was a small bath with a shower attachment you had to take off the wall to be able to use it as the water just dribbled out. If the water was hot enough then you could have added cold water to boost the pressure but adding cold made the water teppid at best. Having to sit down in a bath to take a shower is also not ideal. The walls are paper thin so the tumble dryer sounded like there was a storm going on outside and you could hear a child through it too.
