I am sure I have stayed in hotel rooms 1/4 the size of our room at Turner’s Vineyard. I couldn’t get over how much space we had. Sure, the fit out is a tiny bit dated but honestly it was squeaky clean, housekeeping were great, the location is excellent and the view is genuinely unbeatable. We’ll be staying again for sure.

It was better when they had a restaurant .

The area was quiet and the views spectacular.
Situated well back from the main road, so no intrusive road noise.
The bed was amazingly comfortable.
Hardly anyone there; did not encounter any other guests.
No staff were in attendance at the reception, but in a walk around the property, I encountered and spoke to some people who appeared to to be the proprietors who were friendly and informative.
Breakfast supplies were freely available 24/7.
The air conditioning was quite noisy.
The bathroom sink tap leaked and dripped noisily, but we could close the door, so it wasn't intrusive.
Other guests came and went at odd hours (miners, apparently) and their vehicles were big and loud and took up a lot of parking space, which made it a little challenging to park, and enter/exit our vehicle.
The free breakfast was rudimentary.
