El buen servicio al cliente, tienes mucho cariño y reciben muy bien al huésped, son muy atentos con el bienestar de los huéspedes y eso es increíble del lugar

The outside part is nice to hang around
The hostel was not busy as it was low season. When I arrived in the room there was still the blanket of the person before me on the bed and I had to put mine myself. The bathroom was not clean and there were cockruches

The staff is great and very accommodating! Tamarindo is always such a nice place to be, so didn’t hangout at the place much.
They were not wanting to check me in on booking.com reservation (I think they have to pay a service fee). BUT I know that booking will charge the traveler possibly as a “NO show” reservation. So be careful and insist on check in

the owner charges for the room and then he kicked me out because I’m a Latino from El Salvador and no a guest from United States

the owner is friendly and very kind. He is nice! the garden is so beautiful.

Plenty of space to hang out, safe, secure, supermarket 100 metres away, friendly host.
No sockets in dorm, poor lighting in kitchen.

I spent about a week at this hostel and loved staying here! Matts & his wife were very kind and the hostel was in an ideal location. I would definitely come back :)

does not look like anything in the pictures. everything is out dated. kind staff but did not stay here it was that bad. wish I could get a refund as the pictures does not give you the accurate current set up

Blankets was a little not clean enough

It was a very cozy little place. Very interesting and creative space. Once under the last owner, artists had come to live in Costa Rica for some time. They could life here for free for a while, if the painted the place in return. The manager of the hotel now is a very sweet man, who does everything himself. He is the manager, receptionist, cleaner, gardener, etc. Charming. Great location not too far from the beach and stores
It wasn’t a 100% clean, but livable.

lacked service of utensils like toilet paper, blankets and towels were old along with bed and the place is in need of a good cleaning overall. new person who rented out a bed threw his baggage on top of the bunk bed waking me up.
