Alojamiento El Bosque

The hosts gave me a sincere welcome on arrival. The garden is very beautiful with a lot of interesting trees. It's a wooden cabin which was cozy and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor kitchen had the main essentials although the sponge to wash dishes was very dirty. They were kind enough to give me a fan as obviously the air conditioning would not stop mosquitoes from biting me.

I didn't know the bathroom was outside so I'd have to go in and out of the bedroom during the night. The worst thing was that I had a dozen mosquito bites within an hour of arriving during the day so I knew it would only get worse at dusk. The lady tried to tell me there were no mosquiitoes, but after spraying the bathroom, there were over 50 dead ones on the floor! The bathroom window was just open holes so they were pouring through within a couple of minutes being in the bathroom. They managed to stuff the holes to reduce the problem. The bedroom smelt a bit damp because you can't open the windows as there are trees within a few centimetres and hence loads of mosquitoes. It was peaceful apart from dogs barking.

Clean and spacious place! Alle facilities for a comfortable stay and lovely Owners! Nothing to complain. 😉

It’s a remote place which you cannot get to by bus or foot from the bus terminal. Uber is a must, just so you know! 😉
