Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was very spacious and a big comfy bed.

Note that part of hotel still being constructed but this did not effect our stay whatsoever.

We stayed at The Jumbo Homestay for 11 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The staff were very helpful and kind. We rented a scooter from them for a day to go to some nearby beaches, but spent most of the time walking around the Kuta area. There's plenty to see and do nearby. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious (a slight drain smell when we turned on the bathroom fan, but once we figured this out, it went away). The hot water worked well. There was a slight leak in our bathroom sink when we arrived but this was fixed immediately. The bed was comfortable but I would recommend bringing earplugs/be aware that the homestay is close to a mosque, which is very loud during call to prayer in the early morning. They have a filtered water dispenser in the breakfast area as well as near the rooms upstairs, which also has hot water. The free breakfast was fantastic - fresh fruit, toast, and tea/coffee, and we were offered eggs each day too, in whichever way we wanted them cooked. Overall we had a fantastic time and want to say a big thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

My only feedback would be to have door handle tags to let staff know whether we want our room cleaned that day, which would make it a bit easier to communicate our preferences. Also, keep in mind that the building under construction, with some areas upstairs exposed without railing, so this might not be suitable for kids.

Very clean modern room, comfy massive bed, very easy check-in/check-out, ideal for a short stay/place to bed down at night

It was a weird property, half under construction, in-room you could have been anywhere
