Location is not ideal. Approach isnt good

I thought hard about even a single thing which I could say I liked about my stay and so maybe the inverter in the room was that one thing which worked efficiently and gave sufficient warm air, kept the room warm on an otherwise cold winter night.

To start with, the Check-in process took unnecessarily long despite the fact that I was the only person at the check-in counter. Room was horrible, had a really bad stink in it. The room was very tiny, dark, stains on the restroom/bathroom walks and bathroom door. I have stayed at other "Hotel One" locations before but most were pretty good and none was as bad as this one. Even the Water in the shower was cold !!! Room service was horrible, didnt bring our order even 2 hours after placing the order. I called many times to say that I will check out right away if they didnt bring our food. House keeping was even worse. We asked for room service to clean the restroom and the house keeping never arrived ..... I called the reception asking to speak with the manager and I was told that the manager is not there ... When the living conditions in the room that I was staying at were made unbearable with no room service and no house keeping, I had no option left but to check out of this hotel and to check in at another nearby hotel for the night. The final surprise was at the check out counter where the on duty person was not the least apologetic about giving me unbearable level of service, they even insisted that I should pay for the entire stay even though I was checking out the same day, which is otherwise supposed to included free free buffet breakfast for 2 people. I paid for it all as I just wanted to get out of that place asap. They even included a charge in the invoice for room service food which i never ordered but when I asked them to show me a proof, they admitted that they wrongly added that charge. The hotel manager Asif sahab was conveniently absent from the premises at that time, assured me on the phone at the time of check out that he will make things right and refund me the ampunt for my stay however he never got back to me.

I have always been skeptical about exploring new hotels but hotel one didn't dissappoint. I really liked the staff, rooms and service. It was a good experience. Keep it up.

Sheets and Pillow covers were not clean perhaps not changed since few days, you could see them soiled. In the morning I actually saw a bed bug, and took pictures to report to the front desk when I was checking out. A day later I felt bug bites on my head and parts of the arm. The staff was curtious but could not have done much at the time.
