Simply the BEST room because the location and views were both amazing! A fabulous view of the Fort from the bathroom and the pathway from the bedroom. Bed and pillows were comfortable, restaurants and beach at our doorstep, very short walk to Pile gate & Fort, great communication from host.
Don’t be put off by the thought of stairs, they are not bad at all. Be smart and leave large unnecessary luggage at a storage facility inside Pile Gate, which we did, and only took carry on sized to our apartment. We had the loft room which has best view but a sloped roof above the bed and a small but modern bathroom, just have a sense of humour and all will be well.

The apartment location was superb. Near the Pile gate, local eateries and the underwater cave/beach with a great little bar.
The room was clean and spacious, and correspondence with Ivona was promptly responded to.
Additional shampoo/body wash was provided when requested as only 2 small bottles were supplied initially.
It was mentioned to us that there might possibly be some little noise from the Kop bar below our room, apartment no.1, but it was far worse than what we expected! It was a constant bass boom booming, reverberating in our room until the early hours of the morning, 3am was common!
Ivona mentioned that the owner would have a word with the bar owner about the noise, but it continued throughout our stay.
The internet failed in the evening/morning for 2 of the 3 days we were there. The Internet was resolved once we contacted Ivona.
