Location!!
Inattentive staff. I had wifi the first night, it was out the next morning, and nothing was done about it the last FOUR DAYS of my stay!

Great Stay with Excellent Location and Views!
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Ganga Monastery. The location is perfect – just a short walking distance from all major attractions in Varanasi, making it very convenient for sightseeing and temple visits.
The view of the Ganga and the sunrise from the hotel was truly breathtaking – one of the highlights of the trip. It’s a peaceful spot to start your day.
The staff was courteous, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout the stay. Their hospitality really enhanced our overall experience.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay with great views and friendly service.
Cleanliness can be improved.
6 / 10Nella media·gen 2026
A fine position overlooking the Ganges, so that we could walk down and step onto a boat. We could also easily walk to the Assi Ghat.
The rooms, and the hotel generally, have heavy but generally adequate furniture.
Cleanliness was patchy, bathroom pretty basic, provision of hot water erratic.
