The Lake House was perfect for getting all of our kids and grandkids together. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and the screen porch where all 15 of us could eat together was an unexpected bonus. It was a perfect setting for a wonderful week of making lifelong memories.

Great location for boating, fishing, outdoor games, indoor games and relaxation. The house was well equipped to fulfill the needs of 12 guests. Highlights include a game room, screened in porch, ample space for yard games and a wonderful lake view.

We loved our stay at this property. The amenities were clean, very comfortable and accommodating. Great space for a group or multiple families with children (lots of options for sleeping arrangements). Hosts went the extra mile with stocked books, binoculars, kayaks, games, etc. We went out on the kayaks every day and saw loons, turtles, and even otters playing on the dock. We loved the separate game room in the garage, it was perfect for the adults to hang out and play after the kids were in bed. Hopefully we will be returning!!

Could not have asked for a better destination for a friend’s trip up north. The cabin was excellent, lots of space, great amenities, and a fantastic location close to town while still feeling secluded. Josh was excellent during the entire check in process and was very responsive through out the whole booking/stay. Definitely a rental I hope to visit again, can not recommend enough!

We loved our weekend at the Lake House on Pelican Lake. Really great sleeping options for a family with lots of kids. Good common space. Plenty of activities!

Very nice home with a great location and top notch amenities. The owner has stocked the home with very nice beds, couches, kitchenware, garage game room, etc.

Hands down one of the best VRBO's I have ever rented. Very clean, great spaces, beautiful location, great host. This homeowner thought of everything. The kitchen is fully stocked. The bedrooms are set up well with lots of hooks and spaces for clothing and suitcases. There are also hooks by the front door to stay organized when coming in from the snow. The garage converted to game room was great for gathering and some fun competition. Josh was always gracious and quick to respond. There is plenty to do, winter or summer. Truly a gem of a property!

This is the perfect home for a group of friends or family. There was plenty of space to spread out or come together and this home has everything you need to enjoy your time together as a group. We especially enjoyed the views of the ice shacks and nearby cross-country skiing on the golf course. All agreed we wanted to come back in the summer for more time on the on the water!

Josh's property was perfect for our annual guys fishing trip, even caught some fish.

When I had trouble with the door code I called Josh and he picked up right away and resolved the issue! Place was clean and very nice! Would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had 6 women and little kiddos ranging from 8 months to 11 years. The accommodations fit us perfectly. There was enough space for all of us to be comfortable. The heated garage with games was a hit. It was too cold to use the screened in porch but that would be so nice to use in the warmer months.

The house is perfect for a group of friends with kids, plenty of room, very clean, great game room! Overall excellent experience.

We wanted a girls weekend getaway and this was the perfect spot. Plenty of beds for everyone to sleep. Great open floor plans to hang out either upstairs or down. The three season porch was delightful.

This was the PERFECT place for a fall weekend getaway for the 10 of us during our Girl's Golf Getaway! The house is beautifully decorated and with 6 bedrooms so we could easily spread out. The kitchen has everything you need - the 3 refrigerators gave us plenty of room for all of our provisions - and the bonus large space with the pool, foosball and ping pong tables provided hours of fun after our fire by the lake. This house is on the top of my list of VRBO house rentals. A great value for the price! Our host, Josh, answered my questions promptly and was a big help throughout my rental process. I highly, highly recommend this house!

Some friends get together annually for the past 25 years to catch up and take a break. This was a very nice spot to do so. There was plenty of room for everyone to have some space, but also gather to catch up around the fire or play cards. The house had everything we needed which was really great for planning. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We really loved the bark deer in the den! There is much to do in the area. It rained some so we didn't golf but went into Nisswa for thier fall festival. I didn't mention we didn't locate the kayaks, perhaps they were put away for the season already. We had a great and relaxing time, and hope to come back again. Thank you!

Three families loved spending 4th of July on Pelican Lake. Plenty of space for 13 under one roof and to keep everyone busy. Spent most of our time on the lake fishing, swimming, and boating. Close to Breezy Point resort also spent time in Pequot Lakes. Would rent this again!

Property was awesome for our weekend trip. Very clean, cool home with a lot of entertainment and space. Would definitely return!

We really enjoyed the house and the setting! The screened porch was a favorite for all, we sat out there and visited and played games. There was so much room inside the house and a wonderful view of the lake.

Great place for family getaway. Appreciated the large rooms and there was plenty of room for a pack and play in the upstairs rooms. Everyone enjoyed the games in the garage as well as the kayaks. The owner was quick to reply when we encountered some minor issues and we were able to have resolved right away. The fish cleaning kit was well put together and appreciated. The cleaning crew was running behind and maybe was not as thorough due to this. The floors had not been cleaned well and we found confetti and sand in multiple areas.

The cabin is not only beautiful, but the owners have absolutely everything you could need or want. Seriously, don’t pass this one up, especially if you have a large group!

We enjoyed all fun things to do from kayaks to yard games and garage games. It was also very relaxing. We appreciate the fact that that it was so we'll furnished. We voted that it would be good to stay again.

Wow- we lived our stay at this property. Everything was clean and organized. They had so many little touches that made our stay 5 stars. We can’t wait to come back in the winter!

Nice home near the lake, plenty of room for everyone to spread out, within walking distance of Breezy Point Resort, and not far from town. Enjoyed the game room and its amenities, yard games, kayaks and access to the water. Owner was responsive to our needs and accommodating.

The house was a great space for our family (8 adults and 3 kids). It is clear the owners recently renovated the home with thoughtful details for guests' comfort and enjoyment: a well equipped kitchen (plus 2 extra refrigerators!), gas grill, 4 kayaks, private back yard with deck and fire pit, plenty of nice bath towels, garbage bags, dishwasher and laundry detergent, and game room in the garage. We also appreciated the larger dining space in the screened-in porch. The only disappointments were that the caretakers forgot to clean the screened-in porch (lots of food crumbs on the table and floor and filthy screens, but the rest of the house was very clean). We were unable to dock our fishing boat at the dock because the waterway is too shallow and very weedy. It was an unexpected inconvenience to have to pull the boat out each day, but the boat launch is fairly close by. The air conditioning froze up one day, but Josh was very responsive at getting it remedied. We missed not being able to access the lake for swimming on the property, but went to the beach at Breezy Point resort nearby (free with parking. There were signs saying no outside food or drinks allowed, but didn't seem to be policed by anyone). The rental next door appears to be more of a party house with an outdoor bar and we had some noisy neighbors at times. (We realize the owners can't control what happens next door.) Overall, we had a very great experience and hope these observations are helpful.

So sad to be leaving our week at the lake. Such a well thought out and planned rental home, with great detail and touches down to a bunch of towel hooks everywhere. Thank you for sharing your hone with us! We will definitely be back.

Our (large extended) family enjoyed our week on Pelican Lake at this site. Large flat yard for bags, bocce, and a huge fire pit area. If weather was bad we enjoyed the 3-car garage's offerings of ping pong, foosball, and pool. A long dock got us access to Pelican, which is a large, beautiful, clean lake
