My wife took the shelves, and I slid my opened suitcase under the bed to use as a big under-bed drawer. The closet is spacious, but only had four hangers. Everything appears to be brand new and there's enough kitchen utensils that we made breakfast on all but one morning. The location is the best thing about this property. A breakfast/brunch restaurant popular with locals is just around the corner. Other great restaurants are minutes away by foot. Even a local baseball stadium is within walking distance and worth attending if it's baseball season. The only problem we had was a tree over the driveway that shed sticky sap and leaves. The leaves stuck to our shoes and had to be scraped off with a knife when we got home. We tried to sweep off the entry, but the leaves stuck to the ground -- until we walked on them. Thankfully, we had a rent car and didn't have to clean the sap off the outside and the leaves off the carpet. This could be seasonal problem, so it might not be so bad when the tree isn't shedding.

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay in Arcata…The location made it easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go…We were there for a week to watch our grandson play for the Humboldt Crabs Baseball Team!! This studio had everything we needed to make for a very comfortable stay…Kitchen/Bathroom/King bed/Flat screen tv etc all as described …And clean as can be!! Don’t miss this darling studio if you need a fantastic place to stay!!

I wanted a small private space to stay that was close to my daughter and Downtown Arcata and this place delivered. The little cottage was clean, nicely appointed, and a perfect size for me. My daughter was very impressed and wished she lived in a place like it. It's conveniently located close to the plaza and other amenities - all within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

From the street you wouldn’t know what a hidden treasure this place is. Walked to several locations, Los Bagels, Ice cream, Dutchys pizza, Minor theatre. The best location we’ve ever stayed while visiting Arcata. The insides are modern and look brand new. The bed was amazingly comfy. Everything was great. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with this property. It is one of the cleanest rentals we have ever enjoyed. It is spacious, well furnished and has excellent appliances for use if needed (we didn't). We selected the property largely due to it's spacious and comfortable king size bed and it met all expectations. I had a minor problem getting emails from the property managers, but they did a work around using texts and we were quickly settled in. The property is in a good, safe location, but I was slightly put off by the number of trash cans that were lined up in our driveway. Being surrounded by larger apartment building, I guess that was to be expected. I must say that the exterior of the property was VERY well maintained and, as I said, very safe. I would definitely reserved this property again when visiting the area.

Loved the property and proximity to the plaza. It was so close to some of our favorite restaurants, and perfect for my husband and I.

Great off-street parking. Loved staying in this studio, high ceilings, comfortable sleeping arrangements and gas fireplace to stay cozy and warm. Walked to local restaurants and the Co-op, and picked up delicious pie from Humboldt Pie. You have to go! I will be sure to book this place again when work takes me up to the North Coast.

This spot is exactly like you see in the photos. Very cute and clean. The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. As a bonus a gas fireplace right next to the bed. The place was very close to the plaza and most nights we walked to dinner and walked back.

The shower doesn't get very hot. I paid a cleaning fee and a lot of instructions on how to clean the place before I left and a tip envelope for the person who cleans it was a bit funny to me. Bed was very comfortable. Had trouble with the property people getting back to me initially I thought it was a scam. It's cute and clean but I'm not sure I would stay again as the water in the shower doesn't get hot.

Very clean unit, looks like recent remodeling was done. in a quality way. It was convenient to town square, near two natural grocery stores, had easy access to highways, and an off-street parking spot (although one might consider backing into space because others tend to block egress). Very comfortable bedding. It was overall a pleasant stay.

Very nice and comfortable stay for two. Gas fireplace place is a plus. Simple yet elegant design. My only suggestion would be to replace the small round table with one a bit larger to accommodate dining and working space.

This property is seemingly a brand new rental unit. The studio is stunning! The bed is comfortable, plush linens and towels and the dinette set (chairs from West Elm) is relaxing and the fireplace is cozy. We were quite impressed with the well-appointed kitchen. Off street parking is a bonus. The town and people of Arcata are struggling but this property provides 5-star comfort to explore the area.

This property was so nice! Clean and perfect for one person or a couple! The bed was SO comfortable, the BEST sleep I've gotten a long time! Very quiet even though it was so close to The Plaza. Will stay here again!

Loved the newness of the property! The bed was super comfy and the shower with the heat fan felt great! Right around the corner from los bagels which was our favorite morning breakfast spot!

The rental was immaculately clean and well appointed. It felt like we were the first people to be in the space. The location was perfect to enjoy downtown Arcata and the Kinetic Sculpture Race. It was helpful to have the offstreet parking during such a busy weekend.
