Such a cute and non-pretentious cottage. Would come here again a million times over. And Jen was an absolute joy to work with

We loved our 4 night stay at Jens simple yet perfect cottage. The proximity to the water was the highlight - feeling like we were in a houseboat on the lake. It was charming and just perfect. Had to be mindful of the weeds but once you got the hang of it, it wasn't a huge deal. The Loons and wildlife were amazing and the sunsets spectacular.

The cottage was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. Jen was quick to respond with any concerns.

This cottage was so cozy and comfortable. It's nice to have the extra bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The fireplace pilot had gone out but a quick call to the owners who talked us through relighting it and we were enjoying the fire. Great place to get away from the city lights!

I had a wonderful experience here. The place is nicer than it looked in the ad, was in a very quiet location, but still only 15 min to town, and had everything you need to just unplug and relax. I will definitely come back here.

Had a great time with our family. Child friendly (with a couple personal modifications). Owner was quick to response to inquiries and questions. Would definitely stay there again. And plan too.

Communication with the host was amazing. There were no hidden negative surprises, only good ones! It was a great week, so much so we are planning ahead for next summer.

The place had everything we needed and more. The kids loved jumping off the dock and paddling around the bay with the kayak. The beds were comfortable and the entire cottage was clean and well kept we will definitely be booking again for next year.

Jen's cottage was great and a perfect size for our family of 5 adults. The kitchen was very well stocked. The communication with Jen was fantastic, always very prompt to respond. The neighbours are very close. Everyone was friendly, including a small dog that came to visit us often. I would definitely recommend this as a lovely getaway.

Great spot right on the lake. The owner has thought of many nice little touches and the spot is great for friends or a big family.

We had a wonderful week long stay at Jen's Cottage! Google maps was slightly off the mark, but we weren't too far off course, just turn left at FR 47! The cottage was very clean and had lots of supplies including toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap and dishwasher pods, hand soap, and garbage bags. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. There was a small deck out back facing the lake as well as the dock, but otherwise not a ton of outdoor space in case you wanted to set up a volleyball net, for example. The kids loved feeding the fish off the dock and the call of the loons were beautiful. We made good use of the canoe and the kid's kayak was great for our 9 & 13 year olds. There were lots of fans available and we never tried the air conditioner. We did have to make a trip to get rid of garbage & recycling (needs to be sorted), about 10 minutes away. The non-potable water did not turn out to be an issue as we used the included water jugs. I would recommend this location for families or get-together with friends. Bedrooms upstairs may be less accessible for some.

We had a lovely vacation. Great property! Had everything we needed and the owner was fabulous. Absolutely no complaints :)

Our group had a fantastic stay with Jen! The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything we could need; smores ingredients, firewood, coffee pods, pots/pans, etc etc.! The kayak and canoe on the property were so fun and the sunset views from the dock are unbeatable! Jen was fantastic and extremely accommodating; she helped us with anything we needed and always answered our messages very fast. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone!

My family, friends and I stayed here 3 nights for a relaxing bachelor weekend for my brother. The cottage was clean, the location/lake was great and the cottage owner was responsive and extremely helpful and accommodating. We all had a great time here and would definitely come back! Having the extra full size freezer was wonderful, however, with a few of us loving to cook, there was not much room in the fridge for all of our food and some drinks, so a second fridge/freezer instead of a full size freezer would be a good alternative (or even a standalone fridge (no freezer) in the kitchen). The only other feedback/suggestion we would make to the owner, is to install an A/C unit upstairs (even if they removed the one downstairs). Hot air rises, and the nights were almost unbearable, even with all windows upstairs open and fans on overnight. Some guests decided to sleep on the couch downstairs a couple of nights because the upstairs was too stuffy. This was the only downside, but wouldn’t be an issue if the weather wasn’t too warm/humid.

Very nice cottage. Clean and well kept. Wonderful view, good fishing. It was a little cold and windy given the month we went but it was a wonderful restful weekend. She had boardgames and a smart tv available for indoor activities when it was too windy/cold to go out. We were definitely able to take advantage of the games as a family. Theres a gas fireplace to enjoy for cooler weather. Jennifer, the host was absolutely awesome. She responded immediately with any questions. I would definitely recommend staying there.
