The house was perfect for our vacation.

Really great little vacay spot. Conviently located super close to the beach, stores and food!! Loved the outdoor shower for easy cleanup after the beach. House was nice and super cute. Two decks to enjoy a shady spot to relax any time of day. Lots of stuff for cooking at the house. Owner was great to deal with, easy to contact and very nice. Overall experience was great, my kids loved it!

Completely and totally enjoyed staying at this property. The decor is adorable and welcoming with bright colors and an ocean theme. The property was very clean. My son and I stayed at this property for a long weekend to do some bird watching. We were happy to find a place that was centrally located to many birding sites. The property is also conveniently located to the grocery store, a few restaurants (there aren’t many to choose from) and within walking distance to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. So nice to sit on the porch each morning drinking my coffee. I will be back.

Disappointed because when we get there the place wasn’t clean it was a cockroache under dinner table I went to check the beds and it was hair in the sheets / pillows so I began to wash sheets and I used Clorox wipes to clean around .
The beach was very nice but I think they need to do a better job on cleaning the place .

We enjoyed our stay , it was very organized, clean, a very calm place to stay.The host was very attended, replied in time and very nice.We were very pleased with our stay, would recommend to stay in this house.

Mattress in master bedroom needs to be replaced. They could use more towels & better quality. The out door frig needs to be replaced rusted, plus didn’t work for 3 days, magically started working the 4th day.
Much too our surprise No toilet down stairs, BUT PICTURE STILL APPEARS ON THE SITE.
TOTALLY MISLEADING. Would NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
Fyi I have stayed in Crystal Beach several times, love the area.

I will be back to stay at this property again. Our stay here was excellent. My son and I stayed here for a long weekend to do some bird watching. It was a great location to MANY popular birding areas. The property looks exactly like the pictures. It was clean, easy to find, easy to check into. The decor in the house was really cute, the colors bright and welcoming. I loved sipping my coffee on the porch in the mornings.
The property is close to the beach, close to a grocery store (which is good, because there aren’t too many choices of restaurants on the peninsula).
I cannot wait to come back.

Hubby and I decided to get away for the long Thanksgiving holiday and stayed til Monday
Arrived Thursday on a rainy day and rained all day Friday.
The cottage did not disappoint!!. Was very clean! Alot of windows was nice with alot of natural light. We could hear the ocean from the deck which was oceanside. King size bed was so comfortable! Living room was cozy and comfortable. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Thursday evening found a lil sports bar type to watch Cowboy game. They were serving food for all! Met alot of nice people as we listened to storms. 11 miles from Ferry to Galveston. Went several times. Very close to beach and several stores if needed. Check in was a breeze. Host were very accommodating!
We will definitely be back!!

The wife and I decided to take the kiddos someplace before school started. A little family vacation was needed. We had a blast!! The beach is within walking distance or can purchase a parking pass for only 10 bucks at local store. The place was perfect size for a family of 6. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped for cooking for the fam. Would highly recommend. Beautiful place.

Our family enjoyed this house close to the beach. The accommodations were lovely and had plenty of kitchen supplies to cook with.
The only unexpected things were having to purchase a $10 pass to park on the Bolivar Beach (we didn’t know about that beforehand) and the kind-size bed is two twins together with a mattress topper so it was a little more uncomfortable sleeping. Otherwise, I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, beach house.

Very comfortable place to stay for a family of four. Beds were top notch, kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking utensils. WiFi was great and the deck was on the best side of the house with the breeze cooling us down after a day on the beach. The only improvement I would suggest is replacing some of the splintered deck boards. Overall, we would stay again

We stayed for a long weekend. The house was very nice and comfortable. The location is close to the beach and in a nice quiet area. I rate everything 5 stars except for some slight confusion in communications with Evolve/VRBO. I'm not sure they communicate with each other much.

Beach Stay
The house was nice but the beach was extremely crowded and full of Confederate flags and flags with inappropriate language. We could not spend any time at the beach. Plus, it took us 2 hours to cross on the ferry.

Perfect getaway!
Super kid friendly, board games to keep the littles occupied while you are catching a break from the sun. Everything you need to cook there. (We did have to buy more tp and kcups bc there were none) Beautiful views from both balconies. The most comfortable beds I have ever slept on!!!

Loyalty
When Dustin first purchased this place about a year ago i stumbled upon it and we were his first renters. We just got home from our 3rd stay there. Dustin has been extremely helpful and has great communication skills. The place is cozy and relaxing. Perfect for my Wife Myself and our kiddos. Easy access to the beach and a safe neighborhood. We run every morning while we’re there. There’s cameras for the safety of the renters which is great for us. The outside shower is perfect also. The front porch is spacious and very relaxing with concrete covered area at the bottom. Really appreciate Dustin being a great property owner. The place is affordable and is in a great location on the peninsula. The big store is close, Swedes is close. Plenty of food access close by. Love staying at DKD.

We had a griddle on the deck that we were steaming vegetables on so she threatened to call Galveston county to have us removed from the property. We did cover up the camera one time to change clothes before we entered the house to avoid the sand from getting everywhere but we removed it. We have another vacation scheduled in July but we will for sure not be using this property.

Place is nice, close to the Big store and easy access to beach. Only problem is the driveway could be a little bigger. Hard to "swing" into 2nd parking spot cause driveway is narrow and trash cans are really close.

Serenity
This 2 bdr 1 bath house is where it at if you want to go to the Beach, and have a good time but not all the Traffic. All you have is Bring your Family and Friends. Its 3 blocks from the Beach which you can see from the Balcony , and while your relaxing on the Porch drinking your coffee just plan your Day with out all the noise from the outside world. It has evetything you need to relax and enjoy. The Beds are so comfortable that you sink in and get a great nite rest. When you go down to the Beach its not Busy like it is on the Sea wall so you can Have fun but not be crowded. Dustin the owner is a Really Sweet Guy easy to talk to and schedule your stay and if their is anything you need while your there he does answer the phone or will text back shortly to solve your problem. Its in a great neighborhood .
The price was really Great to. So Just call Dustin and get your Vacation Scheduled and go have some R&R and a piece of mind.
