Property was spacious and comfortable. Great AC and wonderful experience.. Host was helpful and gracious! Recommend 10 out of 10

Last minute fishing trip, host was very accommodating, let me arrive early to prepare dinner..Great place to stay, would stay again..

Great place to stay at. All the amenities were great and everyone enjoyed the house.

We rushed to vacate the property by the 10am check-out time, and wish they'd follow hotel check-out times of 11am or 12pm. This property has a strange floor plan! The main floor has three bedrooms with beds to sleep ten. Unfortunately, there's only ONE bathroom on that floor for TEN people to share! Upstairs is the kitchen, the main living area, and two bedrooms with a full bath for each. One bedroom is the Master Suite and has a lovely bathroom. The other bedroom has a Jack-and-Jill bathroom that connects to the kitchen. The kitchen is laid out well, has all the necessary cooking tools, and was perfect for our group! The deck off the kitchen has a beautiful view of Lake Whitney, but we had to brush the cobwebs down before we could venture out! There are two steps down to a lower deck, but the bottom step is a safety hazard 'cause it isn't marked with reflective tape. The back yard has fences dividing it into three sections. Unless guests are bringing hunting dogs, the "pens" are eyesores and take up valuable space where we could've played yard games. The property description said there's a trail to the lake, but it isn't marked! We never found the trail, so we drove across the bridge to the beach area. Looking back across the lake, we could see this property on top of a hill with a sheer, white stone wall sloping down to the lake, much like The White Cliffs of Dover. No trail was visible from that vantage point either! Thanks, but we won't book this property again.
