Very nice location and fabulous views! I have kids and I appreciated that it wasn’t over decorated with Knick knacks. Comfortable and clean and we had everything we needed. My only complaint would be that the coffee maker didn’t work well no matter how I adjusted it. Not a deal breaker though for us. I really appreciated that they had a few toiletries and TP to get us started. We loved the balcony seating and table!

Being oceanfront is amazing. Loved the views, the sounds, the breezes.

The Condo looked as pictured, it was nice and spacious and clean. The view from the balconies we're stunning. It was quiet and peaceful. Some of the furniture was a bit worn but nothing that wasn't usable. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place to friends and family.

If I could give VACASA a negative rating – I would! The condo was very nice – but FILTHY! Two of the three showers would not drain, & you ended up taking a shower with your feet soaking in your shower water. The air conditioner for the master bedroom is exhausted onto the larger balcony. The dining table was smeared with black grime. VACASA did absolutely nothing We contacted VACASA three straight days to fix things but got “robot” replies, which led to all promises but no action. If you rent through VACASA prepare to be disappointed big time!

Our stay at Neptune's Turtle B207 was ok but not great. The pictures make the place look a lot nicer than it really is. It is in dire need of an upgrade including a paint job, getting rid of the carpet which was damp the entire time (and all we could keep thinking about was what mold was growing everywhere), and getting a new dining room table which was literally peeling and disgusting. Also...the entire condo is one giant dead zone for cell phone service....if you need to conduct any business or be on your phone at all then you have to use the house phone because there is no cell reception which is crazy in 2022. Our biggest disappointment was that the balconies were unusable - just covered in filth and cobwebs and spiders - just had not been cleaned in who knows how long and we usually love eating outside or just relaxing outside which we could not do. The kitchen was nice. The bedrooms were fine - all furniture could use an upgrade as well. Shower linings in the bathroom could use a change and the popcorn ceiling and walls are clearly outdated as well. All in all, for the price, I would think upgrading the place would make the stay more enjoyable. If we return to Virginia Beach, we will definitely look for another place and will not stay in this unit again.

My family and I booked this condo due to its oceanfront location and have previously stayed in a different condo at The Sanctuary with no issues. Upon arrival the condo was filthy, and had not been cleaned from the previous renters. We spent the first hour cleaning every inch of the condo, especially since we arrived with an infant. In addition, the condo itself is in need of serious updates and attention. The carpet and furniture is old and extremely worn/stained. We did not want to walk on the carpet or sit on the furniture since it was SO dirty. The walls are scuffed and dirt along all the baseboards and in corners. Tubs did not drain. Kitchen was not well stocked with pans and cooking utensils. We could not use the balconies as they were covered with dirt, trash, and spiders/webs. The balconies had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time. Do NOT choose this condo for your vacation, especially for a high cost during the summer season!!! We will not be returning to The Sanctuary.

I loved the location and the view, but beyond that, not a lot. The furniture is old and filthy looking. Beds aren’t comfortable. Elevator closest to condo wasn’t working the entire week.

This condo really was a home run! *beautiful beachfront location *two balconies *storage for beach items and lots of goodies already inside *designated parking *comfortable beds, lots of storage, stocked kitchen *grills and tables for family eating * multiple pools one perfect for everyone, adults and kids! We loved the pool bar and the kids loved the smaller pool with a one inch area. The pools really are a great design. * short walk to the beach *walking distance to great food- Jose Tequila is delicious! Vacasa,however, needs some improvement. We missed an entire day of our vacation due to a cleaning staff shortage. They refunded us for the day and provided a future credit which is wonderful, but it totally messed up our travel plans and beach itinerary. We had taken time off work, scheduled with another family, and wanted every second of a vacation we planned months in advance. We paid for early check-in, some reps could see this early check-in, other reps said it didn’t exist. We paid for it so we knew it existed! I was also very disappointed in the key pick up, all keys where left in a hallway for people to just sift through different baskets. When we arrived our key wasn’t there, after looking through all the envelopes multiple times and trying to locate a person to help (there was no person) we called Vacasa, while waiting on hold a man came back with our keys and said he had grabbed them by accident. This could happen to anyone and anyone could walk off the street and take keys to a room. Overall, we will give them another try because the condo more than made up for all the headache. It’s also my understanding that Vacasa has just taken over this property and I hope they work through issues to improve for next time.
