Kranenturm hotel

The hotel is charming older building, right in the center of town. Our room had views on both sides… one of the river and one of the castle! But the absolute best part of our stay was the staff!! Trang, Linh and Linh ( yes, two Linhs) just made our stay outstanding! They we there to help with anything and everything, and the meals we ate, were so delicious! We would return just because of them!!

The location was excellent, near the train station and city center. Clean property and friendly staff.

The WiFi did not work in room #6.

Dormi in una vera torre medioevale e la stanza e l'atmosfera sembra quella di un castello. L'albergo è situato proprio in centro e non è possibile fermarsi con la macchina per scaricare le valige, ma vale sicuramente la pena. Unica nota la ferrovia passa a pochi metri dalle finestre ma per fortuna non è molto trafficata, comunque di notte è "emozionante". Il ristorante è un buon ristorante di cucina cinese. La colazione è buona e abbondante anche se non molto varia.

The breakfast was copious and excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This goes for most hotels in the region-too many stairs, making it difficult for people who are less mobile. Also, guests should be warned about the noise from the trains, which are loud and close.
