I liked the location. It was ver close to everything I needed. It was also very cozy and comfortable.

Charming, very well stocked, and tons of space.

There was a lightly stagnant air upon arrival but they had an air purifier/dehumidifier that I turned on and that remedied it.

We had a lovely stay here, very comfortable and cozy basement apartment with private entrance in a beautiful neighborhood. Our hostess Savitri was super friendly and welcoming, and it was the perfect place to relax in between doing things in the city.

check in was confusing, as the property is managed online by a different person but hosted by the owner of the house who lives upstairs - no real secure check in procedures

The space was incredibly cozy and well decorated. Ms. Savitri was a great host and her cat Isabella was super friendly. The location is also hard to beat, the neighborhood was safe and had great restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

Location and price great. The host was exceptionally caring and hospitable. The amenities included a full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer.

There was a continuous smoky smell within the apartment which apparently comes from the living quarters above the apartment. The HVAC system is one unit for both the basement and the living quarters in the house above. Although they were too air purifying small machines in the basement they were insufficient to remove the odor of smoke throughout the apartment. I strongly suggest this information be included in the listing for the property. We found some parts of the apartment to be very up-to-date but others to be old, including the bed and bedding. In our opinion, the apartment feels cluttered with a lot of extraneous items such as extra pillows on the two sofas and on the bed.

This place is really cozy and comfortable. We just loved the decorating style! The location is amazing, and it is in a very safe neighborhood. It has all of the amenities one could ask for, and the hostess is such a lovely person! We will absolutely stay here anytime we come back to the DC/Arlington area.
