The apartment was easy to find and located in a pedestrian zone in the old town, a short walk to all of the historic sites, restaurants, pubs, food market, etc. A+ for location. The apartment in on the second floor without an elevator (for Europe that means the third floor). In this instance that was 50 steps. This could be an issue for elderly individuals. The exterior of the building was as shown in the pictures. The entry to the apartment was easy with a code to the building and a key to the apartment located inside the unit. The apartment small but pleasant and the bed, couch, etc. were all clean and comfortable. The washing machine worked well. The internet connection was good. The small balcony was also pleasant to sit on in the evening or for morning coffee. The host was courteous and responded quickly to concerns and/or questions. A good place to stay for a short visit to Split and in an excellent location.
The bathroom did have an unusual design as shown in the pictures and was also a tad tight. There was a flat screen TV that could be used if you use your person accounts... otherwise minimal channels. There was a bottle of water in the refrigerator and a few other cooking items, such as vinegar and salt. Guests should plan on purchasing all other cooking items as needed, as well as some wash products and necessities used in the bathroom and shower. The steps to the apartment could be difficult for some guests (50 steps).

Apartment was lovely and spacious and really clean. Perfect spot on very edge of old town area with restaurants, shops and cafes only steps away. Air conditioning and shutters on windows proved fantastic for the exceptional hot weather. A small balcony, not really to sit out on, but enough room to step out and enjoy the outside. I debated for a long time whether the apartment would be too far out but I needn't have worried - it was perfect!

The property was very close to the old town, plenty of restaurants and bars close by.
The toilet in the property was broken, the hot water tank was enough for only 1 person shower and there is a terrible smell coming from the bathroom.
