Einer der besondersten Unterkünfte die man wohl finden kann. Die Reise durch den Dschungel ist unbeschreiblich und wirklich ein richtiges Abendteuer und genau das Richtige für Menschen die den Amazonas hautnah erleben möchten. Man muss auf jeden Fall gut zu Fuß sein und sollte nicht zu viel Gepäck dabei haben. Die Reise zur Unterkunft ist nämlich schon ein großes Abendteuer. Hector, Nelson, Jon, einfach die ganze Familie wird uns für immer in Erinnerung bleiben.

Der Preis für die Nachtwanderung fanden wir für eine Stunde spazieren schon sehr teuer.

Es war ein absolut einmaliges Erlebnis inmitten des Dschungels im Amazonas. Man lebt hier ganz authentisch in dem Cabañas mit dem tollsten Sternenhimmel, ganz ohne Elektrizität und bei Kerzenschein. Es gab jeden Tag tolle Verpflegung mit den Lebensmitteln, die hier wachsen (Frühstück, Mittagessen, Abendessen). Die ganze Familie und Freunde von Jon hat mitgeholfen (seine Mama, um das tolle Essen zu kochen, Jon, um mit uns z.B. den Ausflug zu den osos perezosos zu machen, Nelson hat uns rosa Delfine gezeigt, die Kanutour mit Hector war toll , und alle haben uns jede Frage beantwortet, auch wenn unser Spanisch nicht das Beste war und und und …) somit wurden wir als Freunde aufgenommen und durften drei absolut unvergessliche Tage gemeinsam erleben! Uns hat begeistert, wie herzlich, gastfreundlich und familiär es war! Wer auf ein Abenteuer (auch mal bei Regen oder Hitze) aus ist und darauf, ganz liebe Menschen kennenzulernen, der ist hier genau richtig! Die Lage der CABAÑAS ist je nach Wasserstand der Nebenflüsse allerdings manchmal 45 Min. Fußmarsch durch den Dschungel entfernt, auch die Ausflüge erfordern Fitness, im es richtig genießen zu können, ist die einzige Voraussetzung, dass man daher schon fit sein sein!

L'emplacement reculé nous fait vivre la véritable expérience de l'Amazonie. Être en pleine jungle donne une dimension exceptionnelle à un voyage en Amazonie. Il est nécessaire (en été) de faire 45 minutes de marche dans la forêt ce qui donne un vrai goût d'aventure. Maria, Nelson, Camisir sont des indigènes Ticuna qui ont a cœur de nous partager leur vie dans la forêt amazonienne et qui veulent nous montrer qu'il est possible de faire du tourisme respectueux de cet environnement exceptionnel. Le confort est très sommaire, il fait chaud, humide, il n'y a pas de électricité mais on vit une expérience dont on se souvient toute sa vie. Ce n'est pas fait pour tout le monde, il faut accepter l inconfort quelques jours pour se sentir déconnecté de notre vie quotidienne mais proche des peuples amazoniens. Pour les français, choisir les Cabanas ecologicas muu revient a vivre une expérience de type "rendez vous en terre inconnue".

Mu’u is one of the most original and exciting places in which I have ever stayed. If you look for the pure Amazon experience, far from any touristy areas along the river, this is perfect for you. I spent three nights there and loved every second of it. To reach the cabin you have to take a 1:40 h boat from Leticia to Mocagua and from there someone from Mu’u will pick you up. I came at the beginning of the dry season, which meant we still took a 20-minute boat ride down a side branch of the amazon and then hiked the last kilometer or so through the jungle. The trip might vary according to the season (more/less hiking). The cabin is really in the middle of the jungle with nothing else around which gives it a magical flair. At night you hear only the rain and the sounds of the jungle. There is no electricity (or much internet) so you can really disconnect. In a clear night you can see a wonderful starlit sky. Since there is really nothing around the cabin, I recommend doing some of the activities. Personally, I really enjoyed the night walk and the visit to the sloth reservoir. The food that Mama Maria prepared was homegrown and delicious. There was a constant flow of Colombian coffee. There were some mosquitoes, but less than I thought (then again, it was the dry season). Bring long clothes and repellant. In any case, Mu’u uses a traditional incense that keeps most of them away. In sum: Mu’u is the perfect place if you seek adventure, nature, tranquility and meaningful conversation with the hosts about indigenous culture and history. 10/10.
