The location was in the perimeter of the center of the city. Unfortunately, it is situated close to the bus station and the market place. Maybe this is the reason, that we got violently mugged and had money, credit cards etc stolen. It was quite a violent experience and in spite of the hosts promising to help following up on the police report, this was not done.
When checking in, it would have been helpful to be informed that the area, in which the appartment is located, is often subject to burglaries/attacks. This we only got to know after talking with several locals afterwards.
The location is fairly central, but it seems to be in an area where you are easily subject to being mugged/have your possesions stolen. The street was quite noisy.

Mooie studio. Goed verzorgd. Lekker in centrum Mindelo. Rustige straat.

very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. amazing roof terrace for sunsets.
the location is good but since it is slightly off the most touristy part, it might feel a bit unsafe at night
