Our stay was amazing. Everything was as advertised and Shelley was a great host.
We saw chipmunks and lots of bird and young buck even made his way on to the property to check out the new visitors.
We will 100% be staying with Shelley again and we are recommending her location to all of our family and friends.

We stayed two nights to visit relatives in the area. The accommodation was just fine - comfy and clean, easy to check in and our host Shelley was very helpful. If you are ok staying in Muskoka without a lake to jump into, this will suit you fine.

It is a lovely place and has a cozy feeling. It is a great area to experience being in nature and close to many activities. There were several small touches that made it an even greater experience. The hostess was available if needed and was very helpful during the entire stay. I would stay here again.

My husband and I spent 4 days at this beautiful property.
Our first day there, the deer and wild turkeys greeted us. It was an amazing experience to be able to sit on the porch and have them so close to you and not be spooked by us.
The host was very nice, leaving us a welcome letter and some goodie’s including 2 craft beer from the local brewery. The property was very clean and felt so welcoming and cozy.
We would definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay with Shelley. The property is beautiful and provides us a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Keep in mind there isn’t a full kitchen here if you are planning to cook for yourself but it is ideally located close enough to town to get to some good restaurants. Enjoyed a nice bath in the soaked tub. Perfect spot to sip wine and watch the wildlife. We had two amazing encounters with a doe and her two fawns!

This one bedroom unit is very roomy - very large living room area, bedroom and massive bathroom and tub. The apartment was spotless and the host contacted me beforehand to see if I had any special preferences - i.e. a French press versus a Keurig, would a toaster oven be handy, etc. Even though she had a checkout that day, she rushed to have the unit ready for me as I had reached the area earlier than anticipated. There was a ‘Welcome Cathy’ sign on the door, fresh flowers on the table, a cold beer from the local brewery in the frig and cream for my coffee in the morning. This hostess did everything she could to ensure a comfortable stay. The forested area is beautiful, and I enjoyed having my morning coffee on the front deck (there was a BBQ there I could use as well). The only small challenge is that there is not a sink in the kitchen area, but it was not a big inconvenience and I would certainly stay there again.

Nice quiet isolated location yet close to both Gravenhurst and Bracebridge. Amenities and decor were great and host was keen to assist me recommending activities based on my interests. Highly recommend.

A quiet weekend away
My wife and I went away for a weekend trip for our 10th anniversary. The place was close to town which was nice for going out but far enough away to feel very peaceful The place was nice and clean and cozy. The owners left us a personal note and some craft beer in the fridge which was a nice personal touch. We really enjoyed it there and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway

Great place to stay!
This is a brand new place, super clean and tastefully decorated. It has everything for a comfortable and relaxed stay. The pictures show how amazing this place is but one has to stay here to see and feel how nice the property is. The owners pay a lot of attention to details - softest towels, comfy bed, plenty of pillows, blankets and throws. Lots of storage. Wifi is good, so if you think of working from there this definitely can be an option. There is even a desk and a chair. The backyard area deserves a special mention - the owners created a cool place for a bonfire and relaxation. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and incredibly helpful throughout. The area has a lot to offer - we drove to the nearest beach, took a paddle board to the river in Bracebridge and went hiking in the waterfalls area. The beer from the local brewery is excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you for an amazing experience and a kind welcome gift. We’d go back anytime!

Very nice location close to bracebridge but it seems you are miles away from anything. Walk in the forest is very relaxing could imagine it would be very nice in the summer and fall. I saw 4 deer up close Top notch spot and very easy to get to.

Peaceful & Relaxing Stay
Just minutes from tons of amenities but completely tucked away in the woods. Very clean, easy check-in process... Highly recommended!
If you're looking for a nice peaceful getaway this is the place to be.
