We stayed over New Years for a break from city life. It was a very cozy, quiet spot, exactly what you want in a cabin in the woods. Cozy throw blankets, hot chocolate, wood stove. they have enough property that we didn't have to leave when we wanted to sled. It was super quiet, seems that most neighbors weren't there that week, or maybe only come in the summer. We would definitely love to return, and enjoy the lake in summertime!

We (4 adult women) really enjoyed our stay! It was well appointed, towels and linens were clean, and instructions were clear! Loved playing cards, enjoying our wine and view on the deck!

The cabin was well laid out and clean and felt very spacious. The downstairs game room is such a bonus! Brittany was very easy to deal with and very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Overall, it was a very nice place to stay with the family for a few days. The only issue was we got stuck in an unusual heat wave and so we imagine most cabins do not have air conditioning so it was a little warm but plenty of fans in the cabin to help with air flow. I see for colder temps there are heaters.

Very clean and well stocked home. We stayed for a week to attend a family memorial/vacation.
Excellent communication with owners, very comfy beds (so rare), basement was a great hangout for the older kiddos and deck was nice for adults. Would definitely rent again.

Our group of 6 really enjoyed the space and comfort this cabin offered. Brittany was easy to connect with and made sure we had everything we needed ahead of our stay. The hosts have made it a wonderful place and I hope to return again next summer!

We had a great stay here. It was as pictured, clean and had what we needed. Owners were easy to communicate with and super nice. We enjoyed the deck for dinners with the table and lighted umbrella. While its not on the water, it has a glimpse of the lake and beautiful surrounding trees. We had 8 people here and while its cozy we didn't feel crowded at all because of the downstairs area. We loved it. We hope to be back again.

This property is in the Lake Almanor Community and is really convenient to the recreation areas there and two golf courses. The home is a classic A-frame that has a nice set-up for family with a bedroom and loft on the top floor with a bathroom, a bedroom and bathroom on the main level, and a game room on the bottom floor with a couch and futon and a bathroom. The place was very clean and bedding and towels were provided. There was a grill on the back porch, which was nice. The owners were great at communicating and we had no issues during our stay. Would stay again! Thank you!
