NOLA Retreat | Steps to Streetcar & Fun

The room was super spacious, clean, cozy, had a fridge which was nice. Fantastic to be close to public transport. Sweet and tree filled neighborhood. The shower was an issue, strange design where you had to be inside the shower with the door closed to turn on the water and not get it all over the floor. Its floor could use a scrubbing. But overall a fine and decently priced place to stay that we really appreciated. What was most frustrating in my experience was the booking process, lots of confusion and multiple automated requests for sending in IDs in advance of our arrival, not acknowledging what had been sent and therefore the reservation was not considered complete. When live people stepped in, they were lovely and issues got addressed, but I feel discouraged from using this platform.

Great location. Spacious room. Only complaint is the shower and water situation. The shower and sink did not get hot unless both were turned on at the highest heat at the same time. When we did get water its was just over warm. My friend has an autoimmune disorder and got sick the first night and not being able to take a steaming shower didn't help. Even if the shower got hot, the way it’s positioned makes it impossible to turn it on/get in without getting you or the floor wet. Other than the bathroom the room was nice. I will say, it is different than the pictures, as they have a king size bed and other slightly different features.
