This cozy cabin was a perfect fit for our family plus we loved including our dog on the trip. Everything about the cabin was comfortable and convenient. The kitchen included everything we needed for making meals. The yard is very spacious and we enjoyed morning walks to the lake right from the property. For a longer day at the lake we loaded up all our supplies and it was only a 2 minute drive into the state park. The entire area is beautiful for a family to enjoy time in nature and we will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay and the owner was great to work with on answering any questions we had. Our 5 and 7 year old girls also had a great time seeing the deer around and seeing shooting stars in the evening by the fire.
Propane for grill and fire wood for the fire pit was provided, which made things much easier than bringing ourselves.
It was a nice relaxing get away for us.

Cozy cabin was just that. Just right for my husband and I for a little fishing trip get a way! We grilled and enjoyed quiet time at the cabin after long days fishing. Perfect location from the boat ramp! Great communication when we had questions.

Great place for a couple and their dog to get away close to the lake. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The deer in the yard at dawn and dusk are fun to see! Thanks again!

Property was exactly as advertised. House was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for a family wedding weekend.
Host responded to a question I had within 10 minutes and was very friendly!

Clean and big enough for a pleasant stay. The kitchen and bathroom was well supplied with amenities. Propane grill and fire pit were nice additions.

Nice quiet area. Close to boat ramps & restaurants. Enjoyed our time there. The place had everything we needed. Would stay there again.

What a fun weekend away! Even with the weather not cooperating we had a great time at the local pubs! We will be back again!

Stayed here for a night while passing through the area on a fishing trip. House was very clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. I had room to park my boat and also appreciated that paper towels, bath towels, firewood (although I didn't have time for a campfire) etc. were provided by the owner.

Great property, close to the lake! Super clean and just what we needed for a weekend fishing get away. We also adventured to a near by town for dinner and was able to experience Pancake Days!. This property was wonderful and Shane was great to work with ! We will definitely be back !

Knowing we would not have time to utilize the cabin for anything other than sleep, we chose this location based on proximity to Lake Rathbun. The cabin served our needs by offering multiple beds and a bathroom. We had a baby in tow that needed a spot for a pack n play and there was sufficient space for that. After boating all day, we made use of the fire pit to watch the sunset and have some s’mores with nephews who were staying nearby with their families. Unfortunately the owner did not like us having guests to sit around the fire with us. Otherwise a good trip.

Easy to rent. Fast communication & replies from the owner. Very comfy, cozy. It was perfect for our little family getaway of just girls. The wildlife all around it was impressive. Very close to the lake, fun things to do. Perfect location.

This cabin is newly decorated in unique ways I really enjoyed. Had just driven 350 miles so we really wanted to rest. Love all the natural light. Even though we didn't sleep on it the futon was the most comfortable we ever sat on.

We used the property mostly to sleep and make breakfast, however, we could have used it to just stay and get away. The boys loved the bunk beds and the open concept of the living/dinning room. This is a great place for a small family, or a few friends to get together to get away. It was not hard to find, and wasn't to far from where our friends were camping.

Very clean, cozy, great neighborhood, lots of wild life and super close to honey creek park. Had everything we needed for our stay.
