Perfect for a family weekend get-away.

We did a couple's retreat and what a perfect place to do it at. The house was warm and cozy. We look forward to our next stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this property!! Messaging with the owner was effortless and very quick in responding. The fishing pier was great, it has a great view of the channel where all the ships and shrimp boats pass. Everything we needed was already at the house too. Both neighbors on each side were very kind and we enjoyed talking to them. One neighbor does have the dogs you read about in other reviews but there is nothing these owners can do about that. They do not bark all the time but do in the mornings especially if it is trash day. Really enjoyed this property and will be back to visit. It’s a lovely spacious home that you can tell they take pride in.

Great house! It was plenty large enough and clean with a wonderful view. Thank you for sharing your home. My grandson loved to get to fish off the pier.

We have stayed in this house twice now. Spacious and relaxing. We have fished off the pier both times having great success with catfish, stingrays, alligator gar, red drum, crabs and catching some bait fish with a cast net. There is also a bait shop right down the road, very friendly people in the area! The pier has running water and lights for night time.

Really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean & beautiful and the fishing dock was amazing. I wish I could take off only half a star because it wasn’t huge but it is worth noting: the home had 3 beds not 4 as listed; no hide-a-bed (just an air mattress in the closet) but we made due so it was ok. Also, another reason we chose this rental is that the listing shows a fence with a gate out to the dock, which, with the little ones, we thought was important. One of the panels was detached from the fence (leaving it open to the water). My son-in-law was able to put it back into place with some rope he had in his vehicle so, again we were able to resolve the issue without much effort. Just a mildly disappointing when paying top dollar. Otherwise the stay was wonderful, all the appliances worked, the parking situation was great and the porch, dock & view of Galveston Bay are the things peace and contentment are made of.

Overall experience was Great!! House was very clean and exceed all expectations. Neighbors were friendly and shared tips for fishing from pier. Caught several 22-38 inch Redfish!

The other reviews about the next door dog kind of scared us, but they did not ruin the trip. They barked a couple of times but that was it. The place is awesome. It is clean, updated and has everything you need. The fishing pier is as good as it gets. Great time. Will be back again soon

Super nice house and yard. We loved that it was fenced in and the kids could play! The pier and boat lift were great! We fished all night and had a very secure and safe place to store the boat. We would 10/10 recommend this place for any family! We would definitely book again with this property!

Couldn’t sleep in or sit outside without dogs barking. I know this Vrbo owner does not have control over this, but because of the neighbor’s barking dogs, I would not recommend this home.

Great place to relax & fish!
The house is beautiful, very clean. The kitchen is stocked with most things you’ll need, but stores are not too far away if you need something. We enjoyed fishing from the pier each day, had a great time and caught several.

Small relaxing Fishing Trip
Great place. Nice 3 bedroom home away from home. with Private Pier for fishing and crabbing. Very well stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals. The 4 or 5 large dogs next door were very loud at times. Overall, a very nice place to stay. Hope to rent again soon. Thanks

Our family had a great stay. The house was wonderfully kept and very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the upper deck, ground floor and awesome pier. The winds were a little high so I decided not to bring the boat and put in the lift. Great local restaurants to enjoy. There is a great marina at eagle point for your bait needs. This was exactly what we needed for a local escape. Looking forward to coming back again!

Our family had a great stay. The house was wonderfully kept and very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the upper deck, ground floor and awesome pier. The winds were a little high so I decided not to bring the boat and put in the lift. Great local restaurants to enjoy. There is a great marina at eagle point for your bait needs. This was exactly what we needed for a local escape. Looking forward to coming back again!
