We stayed 2 nights in Villa Arumeru before our safari. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were incredibly nice, polite and accommodating. They went above and beyond to find a fan for our room after the electricity shortage that caused AC to stopped working. The food was also very good. We also liked the size of the property: small and intimate.

The drive up to property was pretty rough. The street was pretty bumpy. But this wasn’t something that would prevent me from staying there again. Also, the rooms with the Mt. Meru view don’t have the view anymore because of the trees. However, Meru is covered in clouds most of the time, so you can’t really see it anyway.

A genuinely excellent stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, with one of the best beds I've slept in away from home. The food was a real highlight — every meal was delicious. Best of all was the staff, who were helpful throughout and went well above and beyond at every turn. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Villa Arumeru for one night after completing our 6-day safari, and it was exactly what we needed. After several busy days on safari, it was such a pleasure to arrive somewhere peaceful, comfortable and beautiful where we could simply relax. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly, welcoming and attentive. They really made us feel looked after. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything we needed, and even a few extras we weren't expecting! The whole property is very well maintained, and the swimming pool and surrounding garden were the perfect place to unwind. We decided to have dinner at the villa and were so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious!! Breakfast was just as good, and it was lovely to be able to enjoy our meals in such a peaceful setting. One of the nicest touches was the turn-down service. When we came back from dinner, we discovered that our dusty safari shoes had been cleaned for us! After six days on safari, this was such a lovely and unexpected little detail and really showed the level of care from the staff. The location just outside the centre of Arusha was actually perfect for us. We didn't want to be in the middle of the city after our safari and we wanted somewhere quiet where we could slow down, rest and enjoy our last evening in Arusha.
