We greatly enjoyed our stay here on Damariscotta Lake. It is a beautiful and relaxing spot. We enjoyed the swimming, camping and stargazing. The house is well-outfitted and quite comfortable, and the owner very responsive.

this was one of the best places to stay! the private dock was great to have, especially for watching the stars at night! the house was amazing and had all the necessities and more! Janet was so friendly and helpful with everything we needed. we would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

We had a great time at Janet's home, the kids loved the paddle boards and swimming off the dock as well as fishing and tubing on the lake.

This is someone’s home. Their clothes were in the closet. When you have had a summer house for a long time you get used to foibles and ignore them. The stairs down to the water are at different heights with a very flimsy rail, the downstairs is very damp in humid weather with the floor really becoming wet and slippery. If you are used to navigating them it is probably fine but a real problem if you aren’t used to them. The owners were very attentive when we had a problem and the sunsets were spectacular
