Immerse yourself in the unique and engaging atmosphere of the Monti district: the oldest and most central in the city. Located a stone's throw from the Colosseum, the district is vividly animated by charming artisan boutiques, graceful bistros, and wonderful art galleries.
The exclusive BLUE LOFT COLOSSEUM, recently renovated and equipped with every comfort, is ready to welcome you to offer you an unforgettable Roman stay!
WELCOME TO DOMUS CIANCALEONI
THE BUILDING
Palazzo Ciancaleoni is located in the lovely homonymous street, where the powerful Ciancaleoni family lived and owned most of the surrounding area during the Middle Ages.
The Palace, dating back to the XII Century b.C. , is part of an even older archeological complex 100 years older than the Colosseum.
THE APARTMENT
The Blue Loft has been perfectly restored a few years ago and provided with every comfort. The apartment is spread over two levels, creating a bohemian and welcoming atmosphere that gives character to the apartment. The industrial-chic style furniture with antique terracotta flooring and the travertine bathroom give a touch of refinement and attention to details.
The Loft is 30 square meters on the ground floor, 17 on the upper floor. There is a king size bed in the upper floor and a sofa bed in the living area, which hosts a big table for dining/working and a fully equipped bathroom and kitchenette.

Overall great stay! Silvia was very kind and gave us a history of the building and area upon arrival. She also gave good recommendations for places to eat and visit, highly recommended getting a drink down at Black Market! While there was no AC in the room, we kept the door cracked and it was fine. Staying in Monti was perfect and offered a lot of great shops and easy access to the Colosseum!

The location was excellent and deserves five stars. The host Silvia was also excellent and eager to make sure we were comfortable and always answered our request. The reason most of my review was only three stars is because the place just isn’t as “ shiny” as the pictures depict. It needs a good going over. We didn’t do any cooking because there wasn’t a lot to cook with. The coffee machine was unusable because we couldn’t get pods for it, however, the beds were comfortable, and the sheets were clean, and that mattered most to us! We did enjoy our stay being so close to so many restaurants, shops and of course about 3 or 4 blocks from the Colosseum!!
