Comfortable home. Clean and well stocked. I really appreciate that it was dog friendly. The neighborhood is a bit questionable with vacant and boarded up homes nearby. The home is also on a busy street and near a train crossing.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to start and end each day on our Bourbon Trail adventure with extended family! The Woodford House was located within an easy drive of a number of distilleries and fantastic restaurants, and the house itself was roomy enough for six adults to relax and have our own space while also accommodating meals, movies and bourbon tastings as a group. All bedrooms are upstairs, which is a great setup when your group is a mix of early birds and night owls. Every detail of the house and the stay seemed perfectly orchestrated for an unforgettable stay, which it was. Many thanks to our hosts for putting together the perfect Kentucky hideaway for their guests to enjoy!

Definitely the nicest VRBO with the MOST accommodating hosts we've ever stayed at. Location was in an active part of town that was a minutes-walk away from shops and eateries. Our hosts provided a very clean house with plenty of room for six adults. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We enjoyed staying at the Woodford House and celebrating my husband‘s 60th birthday. We use this house as the hub and during the day went to many of the distilleries. We also took a day trip to Lexington and toured some horse farms. We really enjoyed our stay in Kentucky.

Great place for us to go bourboning! We had 3 couples and plenty of room for all of us. Very nice kitchen and dining area, with a nice big table that we were able to use to play some board games in the evening while sipping our newly purchased bottles.
My only comments:
Kentucky trucks and motorcycles down the main street can be LOUD. Nothing you can do about it, and it calmed down after about 10pm, so no real issue.
Parking - I appreciate the parking pad, but we had three cars and it sucked to have to park one on the street, but that's not a huge deal either.

We were pleasantly surprised by how accurate the home was to the Vrbo listing. The house was every bit beautiful and accommodating as advertised. My friends and I were able to enjoy all aspects of this home and felt we received excellent value for our dollar. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer to enjoy the home more than we did on this stay. Spending most of your day on the Bourbon Trail leaves little time to enjoy the home. If we're ever back in Kentucky, we will definitely stay here again.

What a great house for couples visiting the Bourbon trail! Wonderful host and accommodations! Would definitely recommend staying here-only a few minutes from several great distilleries and walking distance to several shops, a coffee shop and a restaurant.

Loved the Woodford House. Centrally located to much of the Bourbon Trail, this location made it easy to get to most of our desired distilleries easily. The house was comfortable, clean and has all of the things we needed. We are already planning our next trip and hope this place will be available.

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend on the Bourbon Trail with friends. The location was perfect and the short walk to downtown shops and restaurants worked out great! We thoroughly enjoyed the property and particularly the “speakeasy room”. We absolutely would recommend this property for people looking for a central location of the Bourbon Trail with quaint downtown experience and beautiful accommodations.

This home has been beautifully restored and features fun spaces and unique decorations. The home has a wonderful kitchen, a large dining room with chairs for 8 people, a large TV watching room and a charming bourbon room with great sipping chairs. There are four bedrooms and two baths upstairs and a full hall bath downstairs. The home has a wonderful front porch and a nice patio in back. We had plenty of room to park three cars. The home is on a busy road, bring a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. We walked a comfortable 5 minutes to downtown for dinner and we rode electric bikes 5 miles to the Four Roses distillery.

Charming home with great gathering spaces. It comfortably fit three adult couples. Large rooms and great spaces for gathering to eat and relax after a day in the bourbon trail. Good location for a bourbon trail vaca. The house was not stocked well compared to others we’ve stayed at: five days, six adults and no extra towels, BARELY enough toilet paper, only two dishwasher tabs, etc. We found this disappointing and a point of frustration but others may be ok with it. The home is on a busy street so if car noise is an issues it may not be the best option. Had ample parking and the outdoor seating was very nice. Just wish it would have been warm enough to take advantage of it.

The house was great. Beautiful renovations! The town was so cute. Loved the shops, restaurants…if the wether had been a little better we would have checked out the winery! Enjoyed having cocktails in the Bourbon room. Had cocktails and coffee under the lights when the weather was nice! We would love to send you guys a Blanton’s bottle to add to your half barrel coffee table! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We had a wonderful trip for my husband birthday touring several distilleries in the area. Our kids loved playing in the tent and with the toys present. We were able to catch all the NCAA tournament games using the smart tv also. The accommodations were wonderful and check in/out was very straightforward. Would stay again! Only note for others with little ones, I was glad we brought a sound machine as there is some train noise but everyone very much enjoyed their stay.

Excellent two-story historical home completely modernized, and convenient to area Bourbon distillaries. Spacious, updated kitchen, a proper dining room, and cozy Bourbon room to relax and savor the day's collection. Four bedrooms, one with an ensuite.

This property is a nice balance of old, new, cozy and roomy. The home has 3 full baths which works great for 6 guests. There are options for spending a morning, afternoon or evening of time together-more personal for a setting of 4 in the Bourbon room or the entire group in the living area or especially the dining room set up for 8. The place was also clean with no weird dirty spots in the corners and no dust on top of the ceiling fans like you see in many places. The house is close to downtown. The sidewalk getting to town has opportunities but still walkable. The 2 vehicle parking is tight with a truck so parked the other on the side street-no issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the home was beautiful inside and clean. Host responded immediately! Thank you so much for the memories!

We REALLY loved having a "home" to come back to every day. This house was located that we were able to hit all of the distilleries we wanted easily. We definitely want to come back again.

We absolutely loved the Woodford House! The hosts let us adjust our initially reservation for another date due to illness. So very kind and friendly. The house was very clean and very comfortable. It was in a wonderful location and close to some great restaurants and shops. We will definitely be staying here again for another trip on the Bourbon Trail!

This house was the perfect house for the eight adults that went on a 60th birthday celebration weekend. We took in the sights from Louisville to Lawrenceburg to Lexington. The house was decorated very nice, the furniture was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed right there. The dining room table was absolutely awesome for the eight of us. We loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Kentucky in part due to the wonderful house we got to stay in. We visited distilleries, Keeneland, Bardstown and several other local attractions which were easily accessible from this property. The town of Lawrenceburg was quaint and the walk to restaurants and shopping was easily doable. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and the bourbon room which were nice to relax in at the beginning and end of our days.
