I had a really good stay at Vista Apartment Mariners Blue. The location is absolutely perfect, and the property offers excellent privacy, which made the stay very relaxing. I also appreciate that they provided everything exactly as they promised in their listing.

There are a couple of drawbacks that need to be mentioned. Firstly, they charge an additional fee for the room heater. Given that this is in a chilly area like Nuwara Eliya, a heater is an absolute necessity, not an optional luxury. I highly recommend either including this cost in the initial room rate or providing it free of charge. Secondly, there are no night lights in the bedrooms, which felt like a major missing feature during the night.

A really excellent stay. The apartment was clean and spacious, the room and bed very comfortable, and everything worked perfectly — hot water included, which matters in Nuwara Eliya. The highlight was Babu, the caretaker. He helped us with absolutely everything. When I mentioned I wanted to arrange a Horton Plains tour, he introduced us to a good driver and sorted it out. We struggled to wake up for the 4:30am start, and Babu was kind enough to call and get us moving — we'd have missed it otherwise. He also recommended good restaurants nearby and was reachable any time we needed something. Always smiling, always polite. The apartment alone would have been worth it, but Babu is what made the stay. Highly recommended.

The property was beautifully decorated, really modern and comfortable. The property was clean and the facilities were excellent. The property is in walking distance of the town centre and Babu was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you very much for our lovely stay.

The apartment is spacious and not too far from the centre. In the kitchen you can find everything you need. The heater that was mentioned in some reviews is now permanently present in the appartment and it warms the room up quickly, so no need to worry about the cold! The water from the tap is filtered, we still drank bottled water but it was nice to just be able to brush your teeth and prepare food with the tap water.

Superficially everything looked clean, but our toddler´s legs were black after 30min of crawling on the floor and there was dust in the kitchen cabinets. For the money we didn´t expect big luxury but this was a bit dissapointing. As mentioned by others it also smelled a bit damp. There´s a few small things that could make it better: we were missing a kitchen towel to dry dishes and a shower rug. The toilet seat was loose. Also I recommend not putting the knives in the bottom drawer as it´s a hazard for people traveling with children.
