Hotel Casona Origen Merida

I absolutely fell in love with the room I stayed in. It was simple, elegant and huge. I didn’t need a TV. Felt like a princess. The staff had the best recommendations and sent me to all the right places. They made my trip 1000x better. And made me feel like family while I was there.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The room was spotless and exceptionally well‑maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere throughout the property is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He shared excellent local tips and even arranged several reservations for us, all of which turned out to be fantastic recommendations. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and charming property with a very peaceful atmosphere. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed the garden and pool area as well.

Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Very clean Nice little pool.

Our room had all glass walls, we had to have the curtains closed all of the time, otherwise the entire room was in show to all else using the property. It was the garden room, and noise from everywhere was like being in the same room. Two of the windows are massive sliding doors but had no lock, just a lever which wasn’t difficult to break in. The location is out of town, you have to take vans everywhere unless you have a car.
