Perfect River Getaway - Exceeded Every Expectation! We just returned from an absolutely magical time at this stunning river property, and I'm already planning our next visit! From the moment we walked through the door, we were blown away by how immaculately clean and well-maintained the house was. You can tell the hosts take tremendous pride in their property - every surface sparkled, the linens were crisp and fresh, and the kitchen was spotless with everything we needed. The house itself is beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. The floor plan was perfect for our family gatherings, and the large windows offered breathtaking views of the water from multiple rooms. But the real showstoppers were the outdoor amenities! The pool was absolutely divine - perfectly maintained, and the ideal temperature for both morning laps and afternoon lounging. The hot tub was an added bonus. And then there's that incredible dock... we spent countless hours there reading, fishing, crabbing and simply soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. But nothing could have prepared us for those sunsets from the dock. Every single evening was like a masterpiece painted across the sky, with brilliant oranges and pinks reflecting off the calm water. We found ourselves timing our dinners just to catch the golden hour from that perfect vantage point. It became our favorite daily ritual.

Our family just can’t get enough of this lovely property. We just finished our third year visiting Holly Knoll and have already booked year 4 for August 2026. The home has everything you need for a truly comfortable stay right down to crab traps to use on the dock and the crabs are truly spectacular. We loved the pool and porch sitting and Jack is a great, responsive host. 5 stars every time.

Terrific family time. Beautiful kitchen to make great meals. Pool is fantastic with very nice table and chairs. Uncle and nephews enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. Comfy beds. Only problem is the time passes too quickly.

This was our third summer to visit. Wonderful! Each year we make new family memories. Already planning year four. Wonderful host, too.
