We had a wonderful stay at Tholos Home. Konstantinos was an exceptional host and made us feel very welcome. We arrived to find cold bottles of water and freshly cut watermelon in the fridge, which was a lovely touch after our journey. When we asked for an extra fan for the downstairs bedroom, his family brought one over the same day. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, and we loved having breakfast and late evening drinks on the beautiful terrace. The views from the upstairs bedrooms are breathtaking. The house was peaceful and quiet, especially in the evenings. I’m a very light sleeper and slept incredibly well every night. The air conditioning kept us comfortable, there was always plenty of hot water with excellent water pressure for all six of us, and parking directly outside the house was very convenient. The neighbours were so friendly and recommended some fantastic local tavernas. We also loved the friendly stray cats around the village—they became a memorable part of our holiday. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and we would definitely stay here again.

Το κατάλυμα είναι ένα παλιό αρχοντικό πολύ καλά συντηρημένο και τακτοποιημένο. Έχει χώρο για τρεις οικογένειες και είναι εξοπλισμένο με όλα όσα χρειάζονται σε ένα σπίτι. Επισκεφθήκαμε το κατάλυμα Χριστούγεννα και διαθέτει για κεντρική θέμρανση ξυλόσομπα η οποία πρέπει να μένει αναμμένη για να είναι ζεστό το σπίτι. Σε δύο από τα τρία υπνοδωμάτια υπήρχε και κλιματιστικό. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν πολύ φιλόξενος, εξυπηρετικός και ευγενικός.

Η θέρμανση την εποχή που πήγαμε στο ένα από τα τρία υπνοδωμάτια ήταν οριακά ζεστά, δεδομένου πως είχαμε μαζί μας και παιδάκια κάτω των 4 ετών. Μ ένα τρίτο κλιματιστικό στο δωμάτιο που κοιμηθήκαμε προσωπικά θα είμασταν λίγο πιο ζεστά και λίγο πιο ξένοιαστα να μην μας σβήσει η ξυλόσομπα κατά τις ώρες που είμασταν εκτός και την νύχτα. Το ένα εκ των δύο εξωτερικών μπάνιων είχε βάλει νερό από την βροχή που έριχνε εκείνες τις μέρες και τα μπάνια ως εξωτερικά της οικίας ήταν αρκετά παγωμένα.

Everything. People in charge where super nice and 24/7 being able to answer any question you could have. Also the people of the small town were it’s located is super nice! The house is very big, we were 9 people and fit perfectly, 2 bathrooms well equipped and comfortable beds. The town is well located, the island is huge and it’s in the middle of the island. They even give us some food and typical olive oil as a welcome! Highly recommend this place.
