Check in process was effortless, condo was immaculate, beds were comfortable,they provided everything you could need for the beach, great music at the pool and great onsite food options! I would return without a doubt!!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The unit was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic, making it easy to enjoy the beach, and local restaurants. The condo was well-stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation, and the beds were comfortable after long days of sun soaked fun. We especially appreciated how well-maintained the property was and how smooth the check-in and check-out process turned out to be. We had a tiny hiccup at check-in but the owners were responsive and provided clear instructions, making our stay stress-free from start to finish.We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation getaway.

This was an okay VRBO, in Hilton Head. I definitely wouldn't call the property a "resort". It's more like a 70's experience with a slightly modernized villa. The villa itself was just okay. It was as described in the listing, although (and perhaps I missed it), we thought a washer/dryer was in the unit. It turns out it was in another building. The bed in the master bedroom was absolutely horrible. WAY too soft (unless you like the kind of a mattress). Overall, the foregoing was not that big of a deal. It was a decent villa, in a great location, with a very fair price. My only major problem was with the individual communicating with me during the stay. On the second day, we saw a MASSIVE dying roach near the kitchen. I took a picture of it and sent it to the owner (or property manager... not sure). My text read, "this is NOT okay. This was found right in front of the bathroom off of the kitchen area". The response (keeping their spelling, for accuracy): "Yea. Palmetto bugs are extremely prevalent in the lower country. They are everywhere. Every unit gets sprayed once a month...". Not a sorry (until after I sent a few snarky texts), no empathy, just, essentially, too damn bad. This person would have you believe it should be expected. If so, put it in the unit description, so they can avoid being inconvenienced by a guest who has to deal with a dying massive cockroach in front of their children. Nice place. Great value. Rude owners.

The kids and I look forward to our annual trip to HHI. I have fallen in love with the area but have not found a property to revisit just yet. The bunkbed in the second bedroom was a huge selling point but that room is not safe. The ladder was not usable, and the ceiling fan overlays part of the top bunk. Neither of my 7-year-old twins felt safe climbing up and could not get down -- one of my kids tried to climb down, the ladder slipped out from under him and was left with a broken finger with most of the skin scraped off. Emergency trip to the hospital on the first night was...disappointing and unexpected. We rented bikes from the bike stand. Locked them on the bike rake by the villa. When we went to go out for another ride, the bikes were GONE. I sincerely thought that they had been stolen but security ended up taking them back without notice or reason. We still had 12 hours left on our rental. The restaurant in the main lobby area had no air conditioning. Service was, somehow, worse than the smell inside the restaurant. The laundry room by the pro shop has a coin machine. It did not work. Pickleball courts appear to get double booked as my children and I were scolded for being on a court that we reserved by a group of older men. The men's friends never showed up, so we left for absolutely no reason. With all of the above said, the pool area was great and there are a number of family friendly events on site.
