Excellent property convenient for the harbour and the town. Recommended.

The cottage was lovely, very convenient for the harbour and the town. It was a bonus to get a welcome pack on arrival. Everything was clean and clearly laid out.

Being really picky, and this didn’t spoil our time. There were not enough towels -5 instead of 6 and there could be a mirror in the smaller bathroom.

Wont be staying again wasted time washing bedding waiting for it dry ect

Good location

Felt the place hadnt been cleaned propley also had funny musty dog smell * rooms we picked stay in hairs on the bed when took the sheet off to wash there were stains on matress protecter so we took that off to wash aswell. Checked bedding in other room we was using took duvet cover off and there was fresh blood stains on the duvet. We couldnt wash this so we was down double duvet the whole hoilday. Due to bedding not drying in tme we had use bedding off single beds they didnt feel clean etthier but had make do for the night due to no spare bedding in the place we spoke someone next day they dropped some bits over but couldnt give us another protecter for matress and double duvet. The sheets they dropped off werent sealed or wrapped in plastic to keep clean and fresh. They were just lelft on the sofa folded thesr also had smoke smell to them. We didnd use in the end due to this. Some the towrls didnt seem fresh ethier strong smell on some of them.

Great stay after day one

We’ve been 3 or 4 times now we must like it.

We didn’t like the first full day there when the fire alarm went off about 9.30am and it was still going at 6pm, The neighbour was great with contacting the owner for us but a slow response to a big problem, you couldn’t go in the house for the piercing noise. Probably a one off and could happen anywhere.

Beds were very comfortable. The log burner was so nice to light at night. Loved having a washer and dishwasher. Loads of space. The bowls and towels left for the dog were super helpful.

The cleaner has let you down. It felt grotty and in need of a deep clean. Cobwebs and dust especially on the ceiling and skirtings. The rug in the front rooms need a wash to remove the doggy smells. The kitchen cupboards have the strongest damp and musty smell I’ve ever experienced. We had to wash all cups, plates and cutlery. The house needs a a serious air.
