What I like the most is that you're kind of isolated from large urban areas in a huge house which is what we were looking for.
We went on winter time so we used the fireplace a lot which gives a warm, cozy atmosphere to the house. There's a large yard where we could park two cars. Supermarkets and gas stations are around 10 minutes away by car.
Ok, I'm going to be nitpicking: the yard becomes obviously muddy after a heavy or constant rain, so a hard-surfaced sidewalk that takes you from the main road through the yard and to the house's entrance would be nice. But that's just me trying to find something not so nice from the place.
